Annoying & Karaoke (REVISED)

ANNOYING. Probably the best word to describe Cassandra. She's a queen bee, rich, pretty, and pretty stupid too. She's like a brat thinking that everything she wants, she gets. Like, stupid right? She annoys me the most. It's like we're inside a cliche story plot where I'm the female lead and she's the love rival whom I can never compare like fuck? Everyone hates stories like that.

 Ever since she saw Joshua earlier, she's been clinging onto him wherever he goes. Right now we're in our Physics class and is having a graded recitation. I looked over to Joshua and saw him trying to concentrate on his notes while Cassandra's holding his arm. Joshua locked eyes with me, and his eyes were actually pleading.

He's been avoiding her and pushing her away but the bitch keeps on coming back. Annoying, right? I sighed and shook my head slowly.

Raising my hand, I got everybody's attention. "Miss Kray , sitting inside a class you're not into is prohibited unless you're permitted by the dean, right?" I asked and Miss Kray nodded slowly.

"Oh yes Miss Hargrove. Why?" Miss Kray asked me. I looked at Cassandra with a resting bitch face and answered.

"Detention for a week is the penalty right Miss Kray?" Cassandra looked nervous and angry when I said that. "Cassandra here is—"

"Leaving!" She yelled, cutting me off, before making her way out of our classroom. I shrugged and sat down.

Minutes later a paper flew into my desk. It wasn't crumpled, it was rather neatly folded and so I decided to just read it. 'Thank you Ash 😊 You were awesome

-JRC' it read which actually made me feel a bit giddy. I gave Joshua a thumbs up and focused on my notes. Hours passed and classes ended shortly. I kept my stuff inside my bag and headed out the room. Joshua ran up to me and so did Cameron when we walked past his room.

"I saw Cassandra storming out your room earlier. I'm guessing, Ashhole drove her out?" Cameron asked in awe.

I looked at him plainly and rolled my eyes. "You're so noisy nerd" I said and heard Joshua laughed.

"Stop laughing Robert! And hey! You know I'm not wearing glasses because I like studying. It's not my fault my eyes got blurry" Cameron defended. I chuckled a bit when I saw his face. The three of us went to unlock the bikes when I felt like going to karaoke.

"Idiots. You wanna go to the arcade?" I asked and the two looked at each other and nodded. "Okay then, let's go—"

"Mind if we join you?" My mood immediately went from butterflies to shit when I heard that voice.

I faced Cassandra and she's got her twin sister behind her, Eleanor who's a sweetpea unlike her. "Yes we mind" I answered simply and Cassandra's smile dropped.

"And why is that?" she asked and raised a brow.

"Because you're annoying me?" I replied plainly.

"I wasn't asking you. I was asking Joshy." she retorted and clung onto Joshua's arms again.

"Who, now?"

"Joshy. So can I come along?"

"Uhhh, Ash? Help me?" Joshua whispered. I rolled my eyes and started marching home.

"You go enjoy yourselves there Joshy, tss" I said mimicking Cassandra. I left them there and walked home by myself. I plugged in my earphones and blasted music while I walk.

Suddenly someone pulled me from behind and into some dark alley. I struggled to break free and even elbowed the person on his face and stomach.

"Fucking asshole! Let go of me!"

"Ash! It's—Me! Ow!" He winced and I turned around only to see Joshua holding his nose and stomach.

"What, Are, You, Doing, Here, Robert?" I asked helping him up. "You could've just called out to me instead of doing this, idiot. But shit, are you okay?"

"I think my nose is broken Ash, ow" he winced again and laughed. I smacked his head and walked away from him. He immediately catched up to me.

"We arrived at the arcade a few minutes ago and I said I'd go buy some drinks but I ditched them and ran after you. I know you wouldn't get that far, with those short limbs of yours" Joshua said in a matter of fact tone and even teased me. I chuckled.

"I'm sorry I'm such a shortie bitch hahaha. But why'd you chose to run after me? I mean, wouldn't you want to hangout with a beautiful bitch---girl, like Cassandra?"

"Well, you're a lot more fun hanging out with Ash, I like spending time with you" he grinned and held my hand. "Let's go home?"

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah. Let's go" with that we walked home together, holding hands. I don't even know why he didn't bother to let go of my hand. Bitch don't tell me he likes me?

Oh hell no.
