Chapter 34

Rejection!!!!!! Not my art!

Tom's Pov

We pulled up to Edd's house, in the windows I saw balloons, each saying something having to do with graduation.

When the car came to a halt Matt jumped out of the car like a lightening bolt. And Edd was close on his trail. They both ran across the green lawn and ran inside the house.

I stood dumbfounded, one of my legs still in the car. I casually made my way over to the door. I cast a quick glance over to the house next to ours, it had been on the market for a while now. Much to my surprise, there were cars parked in front of it, probably a showing.

I opened the door timidly, thinking someone was going to pop out and scare me.

Edd was leaning on the wall of the living room, breathing hard, he was trying to look normal. On his face was a kind of ridiculous smile, but he also looked really anxious.

I peered into the kitchen aside from Tord trying to put out a fire that was on the stove. Matt was sitting in a chair with almost the exact same smile plastered on his face.

I immediately ran over to Tord and started waving a towel to put out the flames. But Tord pushed me back.

"Don't put out the fire!" Tord yelled.

"Dude, the house is going to catch fire!" I yelled back.

"No, it is Not! I am cooking like a Japanese restaurant cook!"

"Wait, what?!"

"Yea, so back off!"

Very reluctantly I left the kitchen and crept to me bedroom. I flopped down on the blue sheets, and sighed with exhaustion.

I hated being an introvert, luckily Edd and Matt energized me, but Tord drained my energy like no other.

I felt my eyes grow heavy and I welcomed sleep, just a few minutes couldn't hurt.
