Chapter 5

'' Sonic finding you alive is the best news we've had in months, and here's the bad news.

While knuckles was talking, you were watching from the back of the ship to see if their were any enemies coming  but so far nothing. 

'' Our intel indicates Eggman's got a weapons factory in Green hill  pumping out ammunition for his war effort.''

'' A factory, we can't take out Eggman's home base in metropolis if he's got a factory supplying him.''

'' No kidding , look sonic i know you just got back but we're spread thin.'' ''Can you take care of this, we need that factory in Green hill destroyed , take (y/n) and the rookie with you.''

''You sure about this, the kid was shaking like a leaf the whole time we were at the death egg.''

''That's because it's cold in space, the factory is nice and warm.''

'' It will be when it's bunted to the ground, Sonic you take the lead, rookie just make sure you take good notes.''

'' Don't worry.'' you said walking over to him.

'' I got 6 months of payback i'm just dying to spend, this sounds like a good start.''

You walk over to vector who is controlling the ship .

'' Ok vector take us to Green hill.''

'' Already on it my dear. he said sweetly.

But when he said my dear it triggered you and reminded you of...him. '' T-Thanks vector.'' Then you sat down starring at your knees. Sonic sit next to you. 

'' Hey,you ok?''

'' Honestly .... i don't know....'' you grab sonic's hand.

'' Sonic, everyone,... i need to tell you something.'' '' 6 months ago when sonic was fighting that guy . When you were laying on the floor he picked you up by your throat and ... stabbed his hand through your chest making you cough up blood so much blood, killing you in front of me, in front of Tails...

'' What?, why would that guy put that vision in your head, in Tails head he's just a kid!

'' It was like he showed us what he wanted us to see, it was a vision or something. I don't know, I guess he was trying to get rid of every inch of hope by making our worst nightmare into a reality.''

Silver takes one step forward.

''But you were the one that always hope when everyone was lost, you brought us together again.'' you look down as sonic walks over to you and hugs you.

''Thank you for not giving up.''

'' .... Your welcome sonic.'' you hug him back tearing up a little bit.

'' Awww group hug.'' Amy cheered and everyone huddled in.

As the ship was arriving at Green hill. You put on these unique boots that Tails made you, they allowed you to run as fast as sonic and jump really high. You start to think of Tails, if he was ok and how excited he'll be to see that sonic was alive.

'' *sigh*....''

''Alright (y/n) you ready?'' 

'' Ya.'' You walk over to them and look back.

''Ok vector here's our stop.'' Vector presses a bottom and the back of the ship started to open.

''  Good luck!'' everyone said.

'' heh, thanks everyone.'' Sonic said then looks at you and grabs your hand and all of you jumped out at the same time. all of you land on your feet.

''It's time for the three of us team up. It doesn't matter what obstacles they put in our way. we'll blow up everything they throw at us. Triple boost!''
