Oh my sweet Castiel

Cas and you started dating two years ago today. It was your anniversary but he was on a hunt with Sam and Dean where he needed to be there to take care of an angel problem. Throughout the night, Cas had made some of your favorite things appear. You just finished eating the chocolates he gave you and watching your favorite movie he sent you. You saw a cd laying on your bed, and you went over to pick it up. It was your favorite band. You put the cd into your laptop and started dancing around.

You started to sing along to the words and closed your eyes as you danced. You suddenly felt a pair of hand touch your waist and dance with you. You opened your eyes to see Cas in front of you with a smile on his face. Cas wrapped his arms around your waist and puled you closer, brushing his lips against yours. You smiled at him as he took your hand and twirled you around.

“I love you Cas,” you said as he swept you off your feet, picking up the pace of the dance.

“I love you too (y/n),” he said with a slight smile and another kiss on your lips.

When the music stopped, he pulled you close and ran his fingers through your hair. You laid your forehead on his and looked up in his eyes. He pulled you closer to the bed and sat down with you on his lap.

“I know I don’t know a lot about human emotions, but this one I feel, makes me have a weird feeling in my stomach that I don’t want to lose,” he looked down at your hands and back to your eyes, making his blue eyes look into yours. “I love you (y/n) and I want to be the one you will love forever.” He stood up and sat you on the bed and kneeled down in front of you. “(Y/n) will you marry me?”

You looked at him with shock and saw him pull out and small box with a diamond ring with little black diamonds around it. You looked back up in his eyes and saw how nervous he was getting. “Yes,” you managed to whisper out, while tears ran down your face. He slipped the ring on your finger and hugged you in a tight embrace and kissed you softly.

You looked down at the ring and smiled at the warmth that was coming from it. You looked up into Cas’ eyes and you smile started to fade, “But you will never die. You’re an angel and I am just a human.”

He smiled slightly and placed his hand on your cheek, “When you said yes, that ring has some of my grace. You are going to become an angel. My angel. The warmth that comes from the ring, is the grace transferring to you.”

“So I am becoming an angel?” You said with a smile on your face.

“Yes and you will never die,” he said with a smile. With that, you kissed him passionately and pulled him closer to you.

“I will always be your angel.”
