Grace Xiu

"I cannot believe you invited them to dinner." Jasmine covered her face with her hands. "I'M UNABLE TO ABLE RIGHT NOW! IT'S FOOD TIME! I'M SUPPOSED TO ENJOY IT!"

"ASHLEY DID IT! NOT ME!" I screamed out and pointed to Ash.

"Whoa. Way to be chill." Ashley rolls her eyes at me.

"I will literally kill them. This isn't for my good. I'm thinking about their safety. I will actually rip their hair off. Especially Hannah, I hate that disgusting b*tch."

"It's been years, Jasmine. We don't even know them that much anymore. Let's just fake it till we make it tonight, ok?" Ashley lectures our friend. "Let's not cause a scene and make paparazzi ruin our lives."

I swing an arm around her. "We're going to a Chinese restaurant. Maybe there will be some cute waiters there. You can stock up on your chopsticks too."

"Ok, I'll go. I've been breaking a lot of them ever since Jimin decided to be an even bigger d**k."

"Hi, Ashley!" Cathy's squeaky voice makes us all jump as soon as we enter the restaurant.

"Hey....Cathy." Ashley gives us a fake smile before going to hug her.

Jasmine puts on the fakest smile in the history and I almost die laughing.

"Hey, Grace." Cathy turns to me and gives me a hug.

"Hi." I greeted and stiffly hugged back.

She finally turns to Jasmine and hugs her without saying anything.

Hannah stood across from us with a simple grin on her face. She was awkwardly moving her body as she waited for Cathy to finish greeting us.

We knew Cathy better than Hannah, so she's kind of shy around us. We had a connection with Cathy first and Hannah was just a connection to Cathy, so we don't really know know her.

But we knew her enough to hate her.

A kind gentlemen led us to our seats in the corner of the restaurant with huge windows on either side of us.

The beautiful garden glowed through the glass and gave our location a warm feel.

All I could think of was how good Seokjin would look if he stood in the middle of the garden.

Honestly, Seokjin looks good everywhere.

"Good evening, ladies. My name is Shaha and I'll be waiting on you tonight. Shall we start off with refreshments?" The waiter hands us each a menu.

"I'll have an iced water, please." I spoke up first, grabbing my menu.

"Alright. By the way, I'm a fan of yours, Grace Xiu, and what Jimin Park did to you was totally wrong. How he handled it was totally stupid too. I'm on your side all the way." He leaned down and spoke with a hushed tone.

"Uh..." I forced a chuckle. "Thanks?"

"I'll have a Coca Cola." Ashley says, her face in the menu.

""Lemonade."

"Water, please."

"Sprite. Thanks."

The waiter bows down to us in a polite manner and struts away to the kitchen.

"Wow, Grace. I knew you were popular, but I wasn't expecting to see you get recognized in public." Cathy giggles.

"I wasn't expecting anything either." I rubbed the back of my neck.

"And Ashley, wasn't that guy totally adorable?" She leaned over the table and whispered. "He was totally your type!"

Ashley gave Jasmine and I a quick look before turning to her with a small smile.

"He was cute, but I'm not into waiter guys. I'll admit he's eye candy, though."

Jasmine and I quietly laughed behind our menu wall.

"He's probably into Grace, though. The way he came onto her like that was so obvious. Wasn't it, Grace?" Hannah raised her eyebrows at me.

I looked up and shook my head. "Nah, I'm already in a-"

"Grace is dating Seokjin Kim. The rich cutie. They're in a loving relationship. Don't try to ruin that!" Cathy interrupted and scolded her friend. "Like what Jimin almost did."

This girl.

I sat back in my seat, leaving my will to make more of this conversation with them.

"Let's just figure out what we want to eat." Ashley says, holding up the menu.

They agree with her and start looking through the menus.

After we gave our orders to our waiter, Jasmine gave Ashley and I the "meet in bathroom" look before rushing off first.

"Excuse us." Ashley says and stands up, pinching my sleeve in the process.

"Of course." Cathy waves us off.

We all head to the bathroom and once we were alone, Jasmine starts tapping her foot against the tiles.

"I actually hate them. I literally still do. Did you see what Cathy did when she first saw us? She talked to everyone, but me. And when she was making small talk, she talked to everyone, but me. What the hell is her problem? Is she acting like I don't exist? Does she know I still despise her guts and she doesn't want to get on my bad side? BECAUSE SHE'S NOT AVOIDING THAT PROBLEM! THIS IS A CHINESE RESTURANT! THERE'S CHOPSTICKS EVERYWHERE!"

"She's probably a bit shy around you. Since you two have more beef than we ever did." I tried to reason with the beast.

"Shy? I doubt it."

"I think she's onto something." Ashley says, crossing her arms.

"What?"

"Did you not hear her? She practically knows your love life. She probably did research on you. Maybe that's how she found out about Jasmine's mom!" Ashley's eye light up from the lightbulb in her brain.

I sighed. "Let's make theories later. I don't want drama today. Let's just eat and talk crap when we get home, alright?"

"Fine. I'm too hungry to rant anyways. I just needed to tell you guys before I exploded in front of them."

"Fair enough."

We exited the restrooms and went back to our seats and waited on our phones.

After another 5 minutes, our food finally came.

"Eat well. If you need anything, just call me over." Shaha smiled at us.

"Excuse me, could I get extra chopsticks?" Jasmine asked the waiter.

I nudged her arm.

"What? Just in case." She whispered with a smirk.

"Of course. I'll be back with that. Enjoy your food, ladies."

"Extra chopsticks? What do you do with all those chopsticks?" Cathy asked.

Ashley and I held back our laughs by drinking our beverages.

"Oh, just for the future. You never know when you might need them." Jasmine answered as innocently as she could.

That conversation ended quickly and it was just silence between the 5 of us.

No one talked, but looks were being exchanged from each person.

Some awkward.

Some accidental.

Some evil.

Some b*tchy.

"Oh, Grace! Before I forget, I'd like to have a chat with you after dinner. Is that alright?" Cathy asks, sending a smile my way.

I nodded. "I'm fine with that. About what, may I ask?"

"About Jimin."
