Memories

The wave washed over her, instantly seeming to sizzle and turn to mist.
Kiara hummed gently and taking out her katana went in for the kill. But as she moved to attack, Kisame disappeared from her view.
"I had not realized what you were fully capable of." Kiara spun towards the voice and gave a start at the smirking Kisame and blank faced Itachi.
"Genjutsu..." she whispered, quickly realizing the situation. This caused the tall Blue man to chuckle darkly, then look at his partner who was looking her over with his sharingan.
"You came here expecting to die, but I see no fear in your eyes." Kiara looked Itachi in the eyes, putting her Katana away as she realized it was useless against these too.
"I would willingly die for my village and the ones I care about." She noticed the smirk fall from Kisame's face as he looked her over again.
"The bruises between your thighs, are they also a symbol of your will?" Itachi bluntly asked, causing the kunoichi to wince and grab at her arm as if embarrassed and shamed.
"I have given many things for my village, and I will not stop there..." her voice grew at the end, but was raspy and cracking as if the memories of her past and the reason for the bruises were hard to forget.
"What if I were to gift you with something?" Kiara looked up at Itachi with wide eyes, stepping back as his words fully sunk in.
"I do not take kindly to...gifts." She whispered the last word, noticing that Kisame was staring at his partner in confusion.
Kisame never knew Itachi to take to a female, so was wildly confused.
"This gift, it is not what your thinking. Let me show you." Before Kira could react, Itachi's eyes spun and the girl collapsed to the ground.

Kisame jumped down, appearing beside the girl and gently lifted her head to get a good look at her face.
She looked completely at peace, as if there were no dreams to haunt her at night.
He looked at his partner, who now stood beside him looking down at the kunoichi.
"What did you do to her? Pein will be angry if we destroyed her mind. She's suppose to become a member." But Itachi just shook his head.
"I took her past, and gave her a future." At this cryptic message he summoned a crow, and after writing a letter sent it out.
Kisame watched the bird, then looked at his partner smirking,"You like her?"
"She reminds me of somebody, let's go others will be here soon." With that they began to leave, but Kisame stopped and went back. He took off his cloak, wrapping it around the naked girl.

Itachi waited without turning around, then after Kisame gently hid her against the tree they left.

Hiruzen sat in his office, seemingly relaxing as he looked through the paper work for the finals of the chunin exams.
As he was flipping to look at the sand shinobi, a crow flew in through the window landing on his desk.
Instantly the room was full of Anbu, but Hiruzen waved them off without hesitation and grabbed the note.
The crow looked at him with its beady eyes, they disappeared without a trace.
As the third Hokage opened the note, and read it he was quickly to his feet.
"Get me Team 8 and Kakashi!" An Anbu appeared with a nod then left quickly.

Soon enough Team 8 was in his office, along with the usually late Kakashi who was taking this time to get away from the ever exhausting Sasuke.

Kakashi sighed, 'If he speaks one more time about getting stronger then Naruto, he was sure to burst a vein.'
But as soon as he saw the serious face of The third Hokage, he straightened up putting his book away.

"Team 8, I need you to go to these coordinates and quickly. A shinobi of the leaf was seen there, and is in grave danger."

The Hokage gave the coordinates to the team, then turned to Kakashi.
Kakashi wondered why he was there, if the Hokage wasn't sending him as well.
"Kakashi, you will be with Team 8, your hounds being able to track the girl. You should know her scent well, as she is apart of your team." Kurinai looked at Kakashi, noticing the shock and pain that filled his friends eye.
Kakashi stepped forward,"Kiara?..." at the nod, Kakashi wasted no time in summoning Pakkun.
"Pakkun, take us to Kiara." The small dog took off quickly, and soon the five man Squad followed.

'It's so cold....' a shivering form was seen huddling against a tree, pulling the only article of clothing closer to herself.
She clutched at the cloak, staring up at the beautiful night sky.
'Stars...so beautiful.' She hummed gently, being able to tell quickly that if she didn't find warmth soon, she was sure to die.
The sound of running feet came closer, but the girl didn't seem to notice.
'Who am I?...' she wondered, staring down at her hands.
"Kiara?...." a gentle voice spoke behind her, and the girl looked up to see a strange sight.
A man stood above her, hair a strange color who didn't seem to show much of his face but an eye.

He quickly pushed up his headband, scanning her with his sharingan eye.
Red, for some reason she winced at the sight of his other eye. Standing up, she moved away from him.
"Kiara, what's wrong?" The man moved forward, landing in front of her. His hands came up when she stumbled away.
Her bottom lip quivering in fear, she didn't know this man.
'Do I?' The girl looked at him with wide eyes.
"Who am I?" She whispered, causing the man to freeze.

Alright guys, so I really like this story as a Lee love story. But I also quite love the interaction between her and Kakashi, and instead of doing a voting system on who she should be with. Would y'all rather me write a story, with the same story line but a bit different where she ends up with Kakashi? Let me know in the comments.
