I ran across the street to the store called Dust Till Dawn, I knew the shop owner lived in the house above it and was sleeping right now. I walked to the door step of the store and put down a small basket I had. Inside was my child and bundle of joy Y/N. He was a calm child, always solving things. I gingerly brushed the little hair he had out of his eyes. No time to be sentimental this will be best for him. With the white fang on my tail I can't take care of him, I placed down my cane blade, and revolver along with a gift I had for him when he got older. My hidden blade. I had covered his small frame with my coat to starve off the cold and left a note for the shopkeeper.

???: be safe my child. And remember nothing is true, and everything is permitted

I kiss his forehead before giving the shop door a few sharp knocks

Shopkeeper: who's there?

I see a light turn on and ran the opposite direction leaving Y/N at the door for him to find. The kind man opened the door to find my child at the steps sleeping soundly

Shopkeep: who are you

He asked lifting him up in the coat and reading the note

Shopkeep: so she wanted a better life for you huh, well I'm not sure how fun this life will be, but at least you will be safe

He took the weapons and child inside making me feel happy. I climbed up a building and ran across town hoping to get to the large forest surrounding the city

???: and where do you think your going?

I turn around to see a familiar and hated face

???: jack

Jack: what's wrong June not happy to see me

He drew his blade a dull blue katana with ice dust infused

June: no not at all

I pull out my silenced 22 millimeter pistol and fired wind rounds at his feet which he dodged by jumping back he sent a slash at me causing a blade of ice to erupt from his blade freezing me in place

June: No!

Jack: what happened to your weapons, and the kid?

I stare at him with hate

June: he's just a child let him go

Jack: fine, but only because you were my partner, and saved me multiple times. However I will need to kill you, forgive me

June: I already have friend

The blade came down and the last thing I saw was the look of pain on jacks face as he killed me

Shopkeeps POV

Huh I just felt as if something bad has just happened

*clatter*

Shopkeep: No Y/N Don't touch those
