I kept my head down making sure that my hoodie blocked my face as I drew random pictures at the back of my book. The teacher was going on about something as he he wrote on the board while asking questions, but I wasn't paying any attention.
Suddenly, the class door opened to reveal the new boy that everyone was talking about and by everyone, mostly the girls. They were all falling for this boy that they hadn't even met yet, but they were talking about love.
"Glad to see that you decided to join us Mr. Black," the teacher, Mr. Johnson said as he looked at him. Most of the girls were giggling as they sent flirtatious looks towards the new boy, while I took this time to finally look at him.
He had shiny black hair and striking blue eyes which stood out and a gorgeous jawline. He was wearing a leather jacket and was giving off that bad boy vibe as I sighed to myself.
When was this school going to get a normal student for once? I chuckled to myself as I thought about what was considered normal, but I knew I was far from that and the students here were a constant reminder.
"Just take a seat in the back Mr. Black and pay attention," Mr. Johnson said as he went back to his lesson. I couldn't help wonder why he would send the obvious bad boy to the back of the class knowing he was a trouble maker.
I rolled my eyes as I continued to shade over my drawing, not caring when I heard the chair next to me drag on the floor.
"Hey." His voice was smooth yet deep and was pleasant to listen to but I just ignored him, hoping he would get the hint, but unfortunately, he didn't.
"The name's Zian, what about you?" He asked as I once again ignored him and thankfully he stopped talking to me when he realized I wasn't going to answer. I knew I was going to be confronted today because I could hear some girls whispering about me.
Angrily, I ripped my drawing from my book and crushed it into a small ball before dumping it into my bag with all my other drawings which I wasn't pleased with and that was a lot. I had anger issues and drawing was one of the only things which calmed me down.
Thankfully the bell rang and I waited for everyone to leave the classroom before following them. There was many things that I hated which included students, large crowds, children but to put things simple, basically human kind.
It was lunch time which was also the time where all the students would go in their groups and just chat about nonsense. I still didn't get the point of half of the drama which high school students wasted their time on, but then again I never understood anything that they did.
Making my way to the farthest table with my sketch book in my hand, I took a seat and began drawing again while I waited for my sister to come. We were both similar and acted the exact same way which made everyone stay away from us, unless it was to tease us.
The sound of heels clicking on the tile floor heading my way made me look up to see Clarissa and her little crew which I despised. Somehow, they managed to wear heels in school but that ain't any of my business.
"Look at the little slut all by herself. Where is your freak of a sister?" She laughed as she flipped her light brown hair as if what she said actually hurt me in anyway.
I just ignored her and took deep breaths to prevent myself from stabbing her with my pencil and creating my next drawing out of her blood.
"Having problems breathing you toad?" She asked as her little crew supported her, although they were just wasting their lunchtime on me, while knowing they wouldn't get a reaction.
Thankfully, when Zian entered the cafeteria she rushed over to him with her little crew following close behind her as I shook my head.
No matter how long I've been surrounded by these type of people, their behaviour always made me wonder whether I'm the real freak or them.
They could change their entire personality just for someone else to like them or get popular and most of the time would abandon their real friends for those that don't even care about them.
I was about to go back to drawing when the bell rang indicating that lunch was over and I still hadn't seen my sister for the whole day, besides the morning.
