Seven-Whats right

Chapter Seven

"Tiff okay ka lang?" tanong sakin ni Sam saka inakbayan ako.

pilit akong ngumiti saka tumango. nasa sala kami ngayon. This morning is different since they're unusually quiet.

"San ka ba pupunta?" Alexis asked. nag susuot na kasi ako ng shoes.

"Sa Lee Towers. makikipagkita kay Miguel." napataas yung kilay ni Sammy sa sinabi ko.

"Anu namang gagawin mo sa lungga ng demonyo?" nakataas ang kilay na tanong ni Sammy.

"Kakausapin ko sya. Magpapakasal na ko sa kanya." napatingin ako kay Anton nung nabitawan nya yung Tasa na hawak nya.

"Nababaliw ka na ba?!" Anton shouted.

ngumiti ako ng mapait. "Hindi pa. pero di ba? i'm the Heiress of Empyrean chain of hotels? and i'm the eldest child. its my obligation to save my company and my family."

"by putting yourself in devil's mercy?" patiling sabi ni Sammy.

"Samantha." saway ni Alexis sa kanya.

"What?! its true. para kang nagpakain sa demonyo kapag ginawa mo yan." Sam shouted.

"Miguel isnt that bad, Sam." i said in defense.

"Eh ano sya, Tiff? he just wants you on his bed naked! like a sex toy!" she hissed.

"Samantha Allison, Thats enough!" Anton said and held Sam's arm.

"Bullshit, Tiffany!" She shouted and walked out.

i bit my lips to supress the tears forming in my eyes.

"Tiffany" Alexis whispered and hugged me.

"its okay Alex. its true. he only wants me for my body. Sammys right. but no matter what it is. i still have to do this." humugot ako.ng hininga saka sinubukan maging matapang.

"Kasi yun yung tama," i added. "i have to make the sacrifice to support my family. para hindi sila mag suffer. i have to put myself at stake in exchange of my family's future. i have to think of them hindi pwede yung sarili ko lang. i have to think of their future as much as i have to think about the right choice to make."

"I'm not capable of paying him back now, Guys. kahit utangan ko kayong lahat. and it would be too much of a burden kung pati kayo idadamay ko sa problema ko." they both fell silent with what i said.

but its true. one hundred billion dollars is just too much. ayokong isipin pa nila yung problema ko.

may solusyon naman eh. nasa kamay ko yun. at nasa saakin kung papabayaan kong mawala yung Empyrean o isasalba ko sila.

and i decided to take the latter.

"Sir, your Fiancé is here." narinig kong sabi ng secretary ni Miguel sa kanya. humugot ako ng malalim na hininga bago inayos yung sarili ko.

"Just send her in." i heard him ordered his secretary. tumingin sakin yung secretary nya saka tumango. tumayo na ko saka pumasok sa loob ng office nya.

hindi man lang sya nag angat ng tingin nung pumasok ako sa loob. may binabasa syang dokumento.

i took this time to look at him. he looks so serious now. na para bang wala syang panahon para maglaro.

"you need anything?" malamig na tanong nya sakin na nagpabalik ng atensyon ko sa kasalukuyan. ngayon ko lang napansin na nakatingin sya sakin.
