*A/N: Strange, I found this one-shot in my old disk from what was left in my laptop, before it broke. I didn't bother correcting it, as I had written it a few months ago. I hope the content is good XD Because I think that it's like a... hmmm, let's not say it. I WILL DO A HUGE REWRITING ON THIS PART. That's what I am for sure. And when I update it, I'll write a note next to Yata's name.

I'll start writing again. I'll probably update once or twice a week, because I want to update each and every story I have. Here's the list of the stories that I really need to update. When I start a normal update schedule, I'll be able to manage them all and make everyone happy! ^^

She was different from them. And yet again, she did not understood why they accepted her so fast.

Why he accepted her as if she was the most beautiful being in the whole universe.

2 years had passed since the accident and she still refused to look at her reflection.

And that's why there was a mirror on the wall, that stood hidden behind the piece of cloth.

"(Y/N)-chan!" Kamamoto brought her out of her painful memories, his mouth full with food as usual.

"No need Rikio, I had already eaten my breakfast..." She mumbled, removing small dots of bread from her (h/c) hair.

"Oi... Sorry..." He mumbled.

She brushed him off, watching the storm that was about to fall upon Shizume City.

Dark, unwanted memories crawled inside her mind once more, but she quickly shook her head, trying to ignore them.

"Ne... Say, Kamamoto, have you seen Yata today?" (Y/N) whispered.

"No, but Kusanagi-san said that Yata wasn't feeling well today." He continued devouring the last bite of food he had in his plate, showing no signs of continuing the topic.

'It's unusual for him to be missing for the whole day, more or less not telling me...' She thought, standing up front the dark colored chair, walking outside the bar.

"Mommy, mommy, look!" A small girl pointed at (Y/N) and smiled.

(Y/N) raised an eyebrow and knelt next to the child, smiling awkwardly.

"Hi!" The child greeted, although it was obvious she was shy from the HOMRA femme.

"Hello." (Y/N) whispered, trying her best to sound as warm as possible.

'I don't want to scare this precious sunshine.' She thought.

"Get away from her, Akane! Look her her horrible face!" A voice echoed from behind and the girl was quickly picked up, much for its displease.

"But mommy, she is beautiful..." The child pouted.

"People like you deserve to go to the circus." The woman spat on (Y/N), her silverish hair swinging slightly from the upcoming wind.

"You know, people have said that you should never judge a book by its cover."

"Do not teach me what to..."

(Y/N) had enough of this bullshit and she decided that her best option here was to leave.

A few minutes passed, (Y/N) pressed herself against one of the buildings walls, trying her best not to look at the windows in front of her.

" Stupid reflection, stupid, stupid..." She pressed her fists against her eyes as hard as she could, trying to prevent the tears from falling down her face.
