Haven't lost shape (Izumo Kusanagi x Reader)

(Y/N) had her eyes clossed, when she felt something tickling her on the right side of the neck. She quiclky opened eyes, but then relaxed, closing them again as she that it was no other than Izumo.

"Izumo... What are you doing?" (Y/N) chuckled, her head resting down on the comfy pillow of the couch.

"I'm trying to wake up my princess." He murmured in her skin, his warm breath making her skin prickle.

"I was already awake, Izumo. I just closed my eyes and tried to relax a bit." (Y/N) explained, pushing Izumo gently away so she could get up.

"Something's troubling you?"

"No... Actually I was thinking of going on patrols around the territory of HOMRA. I kinda get bored to sit on the couch and read books only." The young, (h/c) haired woman explained, poiting at a pile of old criminal case books.

"You aren't used to the flame as the others, (Y/N). After all, they train everyday and use it almost everyday."

"Stop acting like I'm a baby! I know that perfectly well. I was thinking of asking you to train me a little, just until I get used to my powers again." With her offer, she made Kusanagi-san chuckle, taking his lighter out.

He rolled down the stone of the lighter, a flame now capturing her eyes. He used this moment to attack her, making her yelp in surprise.

Although that was a well planned tactic, it did not work, as (Y/N) blocked with ease from the shield she created with her powers.

"I said to get used to my powers, not remembering the old good times." She smirked, making the barthender laugh, scratching the back of his head.

"Ne, you haven't lost shape, (Y/N)-chan!" Yata cheered as he entered the bar. "Now you can get to go on patrols with me, Yatagarasu!" He pointed at himself, smirking. She chukled, walking towards him, taking his black beanie off, messing up his chestnut hair, "Ou~! D-Don't do it again!" He stuttered, making Izumo sigh, smiling.

"Kids." The older man mumbled.

"Well, maybe you should learn from us." (Y/N) stuck her tongue out at him, before hugging him tight, "I love you."

"I love you too, (Y/N)." He smiled, leaning towards her, pecking her on the lips. Yata blushed madly, exiting the bar as fast as he could, stumbling on the stairs and crashing with the ground.

"Baka..." Both (Y/N) and Izumo mumbled in unison, then looking at each other, giggling.

"Maybe that was a bad idea!" (Y/N) yelled to herself, blocking the attacks from Izumo, "You've definitely haven't lost shape either, dear."

"Why thank you. I'm doing my best!" He chuckled, his red aura surrounding him.

(Y/N) chuckled, her (e/c) orbs gaining that light shade of red, as the aura surrounded her as well. She hated fighting with a weapon. She preffered the old way with the fists, so she tried to attack on the lower part, where his abdomen was, but he dodged it, his hazel eyes not leaving her for a second. He took his lighter fireballs forming in the air, launching them up in the sky.

(Y/N) gulped as they started falling down. She used her hands, forming an 'x', creating a small shield, which was able to block a few fireballs, the others she sent towards Kusanagi. He dodged every single one, though the last ball managed to scratch him on the left shoulder.

(Y/N) sighed, smiling at the man in front of her, her reddish eyes gaining back their original (e/c) color,her shield and aura fading as well.

"Man, that was exhausting. I'm broken!" (Y/N) pouted, lying down on the King's couch.

"You coming on a patrol?" Yata stormed in, his eyes full of hope.

(Y/N) suddenly felt alive once more and she jumped, running towards the young vanguard, when she felt herself being picked up bridal style.

"I'm saying no for today." Izumo smirked at Yata, who mumbled something under his breath and walked outside, walking away with Kamamoto and Shohei, "After all, you are tired and you need a bath. Let's go upstairs." He purred into her ear, making (Y/N) sigh in defeat.

"I don't have other choices, eh?" She chuckled.
"Of course you don't."

"I knew it."
