Chapter 65

*Zach's point of view*
       Harvey presses his filthy lips on to Mia's soft pink lips. I feel my heart shatter into millions of pieces. A fire of fury burns in my body. I want to run into the room and punch him in the face for kissing Mia. She isn't mine anymore. I watch waiting to see what she'll so. The time seems to be slowing down and I want to scream and fight for Mia's love. Mia pushes Harvey away fast.
       "What the flying flip are you doing?!", Mia yells glaring at Harvey. "I'm trying to show you my feelings!", Harvey exclaims. "I'm sorry but I love Zach", Mia says. I see tears escape her eyes. Please don't cry. She doesn't deserve to cry because her best friend is ruining something.  "Maybe you should stop loving Zach. He doesn't deserve your love so give it away to something or someone else. He's leaving you broken. You can't keep trying to be with him or thinking about him. You're fighting for nothing", Harvey explains. I'm not breaking Mia. Are you sure? I love Mia with all I've got.
       "I don't care! Do you understand? I don't care if Zach hates me! I don't care if he doesn't want to be with me. I love him and I need you to understand that. He didn't hurt me. I hurt myself by breaking up with the most amazing person. I pulled myself away from the best thing in my life because I was afraid to fight. I don't want you to show me what you think love is. Love has its ups and downs. We aren't perfect but I love Zach so much my heart has slowly begun to beat for him. What you think is love isn't love. Love is fighting for someone. I don't need you to show me because I perfectly know what it is", Mia explains throwing her hands up in distress. Tears were running down her face faster.
       "He doesn't deserve you", Harvey says stepping closer to Mia. "That's where you're wrong." "He doesn't deserve your love and you can do better", Harvey says stepping closer to Mia. I push the door open. "I'm not going to disagree and say I deserve Mia because I don't. I don't think I have everything she needs but I'm willing to fight for her. I'm going to do everything I can because I love Mia", I say. Mia looks at me in shock. Harvey looked like all the anger inside him was boiling up and he was going to transform into the Hulk of something.
       "I'm willing to fight for Mia too. I've known her longer. You don't know how to show her you love and appreciate her. You left her for a girl. I would never do that", Harvey says. "He didn't leave me", Mia chimes in. "I'm sorry that I was stupid enough to believe Samantha's lies", I apologize. "I'm sorry for letting you believe her lies", Mia apoligizes with a small smile taking over her frown.
       "You're seriously just going to do that? I've helped you and listened to you cry. You don't even like me? I love you more than he ever will. Give me a chance", Harvey pleads. "I love being friends with you but that's all. We really can't work like how pasta doesn't go on pizza. It's complicated and is better off separate. You don't seem to understand what love is. I hope you understand the concept soon. We broke up for a reason. We aren't good for each other in that way", Mia explains. "I can't believe you", Harvey mumbles. He pushes past me and walks out the door.
       "I'm so-" I interrupt Mia "All I want to do at this moment is kiss you." "Then do so", Mia says smiling at me. I press my lips on to hers soft pink lips. I felt happy to be able to kiss Mia again. We pull away for air. Although I didn't really want to pull away but oxygen is needed in order to live. "I hated being broken up with you for less than two hours", I admit. "My chest felt like there were rocks in it", Mia chuckles. "Will you be my girlfriend? This time the only end will be when you become my wife", I ask with a hopeful smile. "There is only one right answer to that", Mia says. "And that is?", I ask raising my eyebrows. "Can I kiss you?" "The tables have turned", I chuckle. "But can I kiss you? Because those few hours could have been like a billion kisses." "It'd only be fair to make up for them."
