Chapter 22

*Mia's point of view*
       "Can we order pizza?", I ask as Zach wraps a towel around me. I give him a thankful smile. "I'll order it", Daniel says. Zach hands me clothes and I change in the bathroom downstairs. I leave my wet clothes outside to dry. I'm wearing Zach's blue hoodie and joggers. It's really big on me considering I'm smaller than Zach. "You look adorable", Zach compliments as soon as I walk in the living room. "Thank you."
       "Mia", Jonah says. I turn to look at him. "Jonah", I repeat. "What are the odds you'll play seven minutes in heaven with Zach? One through four", Jonah asks. Daniel counts down. In unison Jonah and I say, "Three." I look at Zach and see he's blushing madly. I can feel my cheeks heating up. I grab Zach's hand and lead him into the closet. Jack shuts the door behind.
       "Do you have any board games?", I ask turning on my phone's flashlight. I find a light switch and flip it. The room instantly lights up. Zach grabs something from the top shelf and sits down on the ground. I sit in front of him and we start to play Monopoly. The door swings open and there stand the boys and Kylie. "Really?", Kylie laughs. "What?", I ask looking up at her. "What did you expect us to do?", Zach asks. "Oh, I don't know, maybe make out", Corbyn answers. "You're just jealous we're playing Monopoly", I assuse. "We're very jealous", Daniel agrees. Zach gets up and helps me up. We leave the closet and sit down in the living room
       "Sing me something", I demand. "Zach you choose." "Just To See You Smile." They start to sing and I sit watching them. My eyes are mainly on Zach. When he sings he smiles really big and it's really cute. He looks genuinely happy. When they finish I pretend to faint. "Screams in 71 languages!", I shout. They guys laugh at me. "That was impressive", Kylie compliments.
       There's a knock on the door. "I'll get it", Daniel says. He comes back with a girl. "I thought it was the pizza", I mutter disappointed. Zach chuckles and sits down next to me. He pulls me on to his lap. "You're touchy", I say. "I'll take that as a compliment", Zach chuckles. I laugh and take a picture of us on his phone. "I call posting it!", Zach yells. I rub my ears. "You don't have to yell in my ears", I say.

jonahmarais please date -Daniel, Jonah, Corbyn, Jack, Kylie
       "So who are you?", The girl asks. "Mia Cassidy Evans the third", I introduce myself with a silly grin. The girl raises her eyebrows not amused. "And you are?", She asks pointing at Kylie. I could hear the venom in her voice. I already don't like this girl. "Kylie Brookes", Kylie answers. "You can leave now", Corbyn says. The girl rolls her eyes and sits next to Jonah. Really close to Jonah. "We were just leaving so you should leave too", Zach says. I can tell that the boys don't like this girl either. Kylie is already giving her a dirty look. "I'll come with", She says. "No!", Jonah yells. The girl has an offended expression. "Whatever", She scoffs before leaving. She slams the door harder than necessary.
       "Who's that?", I ask. "Daniel's cousin that's in love with Jonah", Jack answers. "I hate her", Daniel adds. "We all do", Jonah says. The boys all nod agreeing with Jonah. I go on my phone and take pictures of Zach. He didn't notice for a really long time.
       I still can't get the feeling I got when Zach kissed me out of my head. It's just hovering over me. It felt special. There were sparks and a rush of energy when he kissed me. It was a peck but it still meant something to me. I really like Zach but I don't want to ruin our friendship. He means the world to me. I already love being around him. I never want to let him go.
       "Let's watch a movie", Jack suggests. "I want to watch a movie!", I exclaim. I let the guys choose something scary while Kylie and I made popcorn. "You and Zach", Kylie says. "Shut up", I mumble with a blush starting to spread on my face. "He totally likes you!", Kylie whisper yells. "No, he doesn't", I deny. "You're obviously blind", Kylie says shrugging. "You and Jonah", I say with a smirk. Now it's Kylie's turn to blush. "Hush", Kylie scolds. "You were basically sucking his face off", I laugh. Kylie turns a darker shade of red.
       We take the snacks to the living room. I sit next to Zach on the couch with a box of chocolate. "Ew chocolate", Daniel mutters. "Ew Daniel", I say. "Rude!", Daniel yells. "Thanks for stating the obvious, Daniela", I tease. "Ruder! My name is Daniel!", Daniel gasps. I throw a handful of popcorn at the dramatic boy. He throws popcorn back and smiles at me. I smile back and turn my attention to the movie.
       Kylie shrieks and hides her face in to Jonah's chest. "I told you!", I yell at the TV as the character dies. "How are you not scared?", Corbyn asks me. "Am I supposed to be scared?", I question raising my eyebrows at him. "This movie is terrifying and you're just there sitting calmly!", Jack exclaims. "It's not that scary", I say with a shrug. We all turn our attention back to the movie.
       Another character dies. "Idiot", I laugh. "You're a psychopath!", Jonah yells. "Am not!", I defend myself. "You laughed at a character's death!", Jack accuses. "Am I psychopath?", I ask look up at Zach. "No, you're just the right amount of insane", He answers. I smile at him and watch the movie.
       When the dog dies the tears start to immediately fall. "Are you crying?", Zach asks. "The dog was so innocent!", I sob. "She's crazy", Daniel says shaking his head. "No dog deserves that!", I cry. Zach wraps his arm around me and let's me continue crying. When I finish crying I eat a slice of pizza.
       "That was scary", Kylie says turning the lights back on. "It was alright", I shrug. "You're insane", Jack says. "Thanks Poodle." I remember Zach and I bought Nerf guns. "Let's attack them with the Nerf guns", I whisper to Zach. "Good idea", He agrees. We go up to his room and put the bullets in the guns. "You need to look fashionable", I say. Zach raises his eyebrows at me. I grab his blanket and wrap it around him like a cape. "You need a cape too", Zach says. He takes out a blanket from his closet and wraps it around me. "Now we're ready", I say. We go downstairs and see everyone in the same position.
      "Attack!", I scream. I start to shoot the gun randomly. I notice I have one last bullet. I smirk and aim at Zach's forehead. It sticks to his forehead. He turns to me. "Run!", Kylie yells. I take her advice and start to run. As I'm running I slip on the blanket and fall. I groan and pain. "Why does fashion have to be painful?!", I yell. "Karma", Zach laughs. "Karma is painful", I mutter. Zach laughs and helps me up. "Thanks." I go into the living room and see Corbyn pulling a bullet off of his cheek. I laugh at him and sit on the floor. "I'm ready for sleep", Kylie says. Jonah gets up and picks her up bridal style. "Off to sleep I go too", Daniel says. The boys leave Zach and I in the living room.
       "What now?", I ask. "We can do anything you want", Zach shrugs. "I bought a tent for a good reason", I say. "And your reason is?" "We can sleep outside." "Let's go set it up", Zach says. We take the tent outside. We try to set it up but fail miserably. We try again and finally get it right. We fill it with blankets and pillows. Zach comes back with snacks, his laptop and Monopoly.
       "We never finished our game", Zach says. "Are you ready to loose?", I challange. "The real question is are you ready to loose?", Zach rephrases. "I'm never ready to loose", I deny. "There's a first for everything", Zach says. We finish our game and I win. "I win, looser", I say throwing a Skittle at Zach. Zach rolls his eyes at me but I could see the smile tugging at his lips. "Open your mouth", I say. He opens his mouth and I throw the Skittle. It hits him on the chin. It takes me a few more attempts until I get the Skittle in his mouth. "You have horrible aim", Zach laughs. "Horrible is an understatement", I say. Zach laughs and lays down. I lay down next to him and put my phone aside.
       "I can't believe I have met the greatest person alive", I say smiling at Zach. "Actually, I'm the second best because you're the best", Zach says shaking his head. "I'm trying to be cute with you for once and you're ruining the cliché moment!", I exclaim throwing my hands up. "I'm sorry babe", Zach laughs. "It's alright, Herron."
       "Can I flirt with you?", Zach asks with a silly grin. "Go for it", I laugh. "If you were a fruit you'd be a fine-apple." I burst out laughing. "That was so bad", I say in between laughs. "Can I borrow a kiss? I promise I'll give it back." I laugh harder. "Sure", I say after calming down. I give him a kiss on the cheek which he returns. "Let's watch Netflix", Zach says. He pulls up Netflix on his laptop and we choose a movie. After awhile my eyes slowly start to close and I'm pulled into a peaceful sleep.
