i just transferred to liberty high. i hate being the new girl in school. all my friends at my old school are trying to make me convince my parents to transfer back but there's nothing i can do. my dad got a better job offer here and that made me change schools.

so, here i am walking through the halls of my new high school. everyone's eyes were focused on me which i didn't mind i could care less. i didn't think i would like this school and i still don't think i will.

i walked into the office and got my schedule. i scanned the piece of paper for my first classes room number which is 104. i left the office and tried my hardest to find the classroom. i must of looked confused or something because someone approached me saying "you look lost, are you new?" i turned my attention to the voice and smiled. "yea i'm looking for room 104" "oh i'm heading there also. follow me" i was so relieved that someone would actually help me. "i'm sheri by the way" the girl said. "y/n" i replied.

it's now lunch and sheri hasn't left my side. we basically had every class together so far and she told me i could eat lunch with her since i didn't know anyone else. i have a feeling we're gonna be really good friends. i looked up from my phone and noticed a boy staring at me. he had blonde hair and a nose ring. i had to admit he was pretty cute. sheri must have caught me staring because she turned around and followed my gaze to see what i was looking at. "that's alex" she spoke. "i could introduce you guys if you want" she added. i smiled at her "that's alright who knows, maybe i'll bump into him or something" i said continuing to eat my lunch.

sadly lunch ended and sheri brought me to my next class but she didn't have it with me. i walked in and told the teacher i was new just like i did in my previous classes. she told me where to sit and gave me some notes so i could understand today's lesson better. i sat at my desk and noticed that same blonde boy, alex sit in the desk beside me. he looked over at me and smiled "i'm alex" he introduced himself "y/n."

that was a year ago today. alex and i have been dating ever since and sheri and i have been best friends. i'm so happy at liberty high and i'm glad my parents moved here or else i wouldn't have met my amazing boyfriend or my best friend.
