Jaeun's POV
One word to describe my feelings right now is simply , Irritated.
I can't believe Yewon would actually do something this shallow just to be close to Guanlin. It's a curse to meet Guanlin , If I didn't get on that subway , I wouldn't have met him and nothing of this sort would've happened.
What's one thing I can't stand is the fact that Yewon is acting like she didn't do anything wrong and I was the evil one all along.
I walked to class to see Yewon sitting at her desk. She was applying this whole amount of make up onto her face and we made a brief eye contact.
I simply walked past her cause I ain't gonna spend my time on her anymore.
" Jaeun-ah , " I turned around to see Jinyoung with his phone. He quickly passed to me and my heart literally stopped beating for a moment.
" I-I have to go. " I pushed Jinyoung away and I ran out of school. I don't care if I get detention or whatsoever , all I care about right now is the fact that , My Brother is in the Emergency room right now.
My Dad called me via Jinyoung's phone and It was extremely chaotic there. I heard wailing sounds coming from my Mom and it's just heart breaking.
" To Seoul Hospital. " I got in the cab.
As I was in the cab , my heart raced even faster. I was scared , What would happened if his no longer here ? I would be alone in this world.
No matter how much I said that I hated him , I didn't mean it. Sometimes after you said something , then you would instantly regret it but because of your ego , you didn't want to apologize.
If only I could apologize to him about everything.
I paid the Driver before running into the hospital. I stood in front of the counter and asked the nurse where is Kibum's Room.
Apparently his still in the emergency room and that is simply nerve wreaking. I took the elevator up to the 7th floor because that's where Kibum is.
" Omma ! Appa ! " I screamed as I saw the figures of the two in front of the Emergency room. My mom's eyes became extremely puffy and red due to her crying while my dad's nose was rather red.
The sight of how sad my parents looked really made my eyes welled up in tears and soon , my vision was blurred up by tears.
" W-What happened ? " I asked , trying to hold back my tears.
" Kibum was crossing the road when he was hit by a car , but it was a hit and run incident. " My mom cried even harder in the arms of my dad.
Just then , a group of police men approached us , wanting to interview what exactly happened.
None of us knew what exactly happened since we weren't at the scene of the accident but something tells me that Yewon is behind all of it.
After about 5 hours later , the emergency light turned off and the doctor came out of the room with an unknown emotion that none of us could detect.
" Are you Kibum's family ? " All of us nodded.
" Kibum's situation is currently safe but we wouldn't know when he would eventually wake up. We have to wait and see but there's a chance that he would never wake up again. " He bowed to us before walking away.
My parents didn't want to inform my grandparents because they have pretty weak health and we didn't know how they would react to it.
" Yeobo , How can this happened to our Kibum ? Why can't it happened to me instead ? " My mom cried.
My heart aches at the scene of what's happening in front of my eyes. In the whole 16 years of my life , this is the worst case scenario i've ever seen.
" A-Appa , " I called out to my dad since my mom is pretty unstable right now.
" Would O-Oppa wake up ? " I was pretty hesitant to ask him that question , I wanted him to give me the answer that I want , but only time knows the answer.
My dad embraced me and soon , I couldn't take it anymore before all of the tears that I've held back before , rolled down my cheeks like waterfall.
We walked into the dark , cold room of Kibum's room. Seeing the fragile looking Kibum lying on the hospital bed , without any emotions really made me came back to reality.
I walked out of the hospital , wanting to get a bouquet of flowers for Kibum. I thought that it's the least I could do for the time being.
As I was crossing the road , I saw Jinyoung and the rest at the other end of the road. As we were about to cross the road , a car almost banged into us and at that moment ,
I caught a glimpse of the driver.
It was Yangsin and Yewon , they were in it together. I believed that I wasn't the only one that saw it because we stared at each other in disbelief.
However , we realized we have no proof that they were the ones that did the same thing to Kibum.
As I crossed the road to the other side , Hanbyul and Seolhyun gave me a tight hug while Jinyoung and Daehwi stood at the side with a sad emotion pasted onto their faces.
" I'm going to buy flowers for Kibum. " I said before walking towards the flower store located at the end of the street.
As I entered the store filled with different vibrant colored of the flowers , I was welcomed by a rather petite lady with a bright smile.
I walked towards the sunflowers that was being placed at the side of the store. I bought a whole bouquet of if before leaving the store.
As I head back to Kibum's hospital ward , I saw his friends crowing around his room with tears in their eyes.
I placed the bouquet of sunflowers on the top of the desk provided by the hospital for every patient.
" Did you see who was the driver ? " Daehwi grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the room. I knew that he was talking about what happened just now and I nodded.
" Do you think Han Yewon is behind all of it ? " At that moment , I didn't know how I should react anymore. I didn't care if Yewon is the one behind all of it.
I just wanted Kibum to wake up.
" I'm tired of all of this , If Han Yewon is the one behind all of it then I'm extremely disappointed in her. For now , I can't do much except hoping that Kibum will be fine. " Daehwi nodded.
" I'll head back in. " He nods before I walked into the room again.
Suddenly I remembered that Kibum said that Yewon would send him random messages on Social Media. Maybe I am able to get some clues.
I quickly charged his phone and soon , the screen of the phone lit up.
Please give me some evidence.
