Arranged Marriage with Luhan

It has Begun

This is just a filler chapter, action will be present next chapter.

Jjeolbae's P.o.V.

I entered the house as I noticed the members pacing around, they seem at loss, and did not even notice me. I looked at their eyes, and they seemed to be thinking deeply. Their hairs are soaked with water, which puzzled me.

"Ahem, what is happening here?" I asked.

"Eh...I..."

"Kai got a fever." Kyungsoo said straight.

"Why, I ask?" I said.

"We...played with waterguns around the house. He paused and did not take a bath after doing so. There he is, upstairs. He has a little fever now." Suho said as I laughed.

"Aish, these guys. You are so childish." I said and went upstairs. Probably, it is not that bad, since I just left them for around four hours. I opened the door to Kai's room as I saw him lying on the bed. I immediately checked his temperature. My hand bounced back; it's hot.

"Get a basin filled with water guys! And ice! Give me three towels!" I shouted as I heard loud footsteps running.

I checked his temparature again, it still is constant. He seemed weak and pale. 

"Here it is." Suho said, entering the room. I dropped the ice on the water as I squeezed a towel afterwards. 

I folded it and placed it on Kai's forehead and wiped his arms.

"What happened? In full detail, please."  I said as I looked at them one by one.

"Well, we played around. We saw a few waterguns in Chen's room." Xiumin said.

"They were to be used in the play." He explained.

"We played around, see, the floor is wet downstairs." Luhan explained.

I laughed at them as they stood in horror.

"S..sorry!" They shouted.

"Are you not tired? We have been through a lot yesterday." I said as they shook their heads.

"We're using those activities to soothe our stress." They said cluelessly as I nodded. I went downstairs and made soup, in which Kyungsoo helped. 

"We'll be mopping the floor." Lay said as I nodded.

I entered the room as I placed the soup on the table. I just skipped the Clara Hilton detail, Kai needs help more. It can wait, actually. I could do it later.

Luhan's P.o.V.

Jjeolbae woke Kai up for him to eat. She supported him in sitting down on the bed as she mixed the soup and raised the spoon up.

"Say aa~~" She said as Kai nodded. I ruffled my hair in frustration as I plan on what I should do next.

"Kai's sick~" Kai said sweetly. I just remembered that Kai acts childishly if he gets sick, much to my frustration. I entered my room and searched for things to use. Then, I saw the medicine lying on my table. I grabbed it and walked on the pathway.

"Ahem." I said, opening the door and approaching them.

"Your medicine." I said as Jjeolbae took another towel, wiping his arms to lessen the heat.

"I..I'll do that instead." I said as she stood up and nodded, lending me the towel.

"I'll be putting water on the freezer so that we could use it for Kai later on." Jjeolbae said and stormed out of the room.

"Jealous?" He asked as I looked away.

"Aniyo." I replied coldly and helped Kai.

"Don't worry, I won't take her away from you." Kai said as I laughed.

"What?" I asked, evading the idea that I am somehow happy that he said that.

"Don't deny." He said as I shook my head.

"Speaking of her brother." I said as he looked at me. He let out a smile and shook his head slowly.

"Aw. Kai's body hurts~" He said, reverting back to the childish and sick Kai. Of course, his natural maknae blood runs with him, so I let him be.

He pouted as I shook my head.

"Hyung, it's ugly." I said as he laughed and closed his eyes.

"Yeah, she has not found the killer yet."

"Let's help her."

"Alright."

"Grip on."

After a while, Jjeolbae entered the room and sat down.

"Regarding your brother." I said.

"Yeah, why?" She asked.

"You came on the old mansion to find clues, am I right?" Kai said and sneezed after. She nodded and looked at us.

"Yeah. I think I found her. Clara Hilton, Taeyang oppa's ex-girlfriend." She said as we looked at her. 

I recall seeing the word Clara Hilton. But I do not know where.

"Ah! I remember." Kai said.

"On the magazine, right, Luhan?" Kai asked as I nodded.

Clara Hilton will visit South Korea for the ribbon cutting of the company she will open up.

"We saw her on a magazine clipping. It states that she will  be opening up her company branch here next Saturday." 

"Jinja?"

"Ne."

Jjeolbae's P.o.V.

I entered my room and researched about Clara Hilton, yes, she owns a company now, as stated in this article. I must be lucky, the event's next Saturday, and I don't need to go to Paris.

It somehow saddens me to  see that she built it up just after the day Taeyang died.

"Jjeolbae?" a voice asked.

"Come in." I said as Luhan appeared.

"Is that Clara Hilton?"

"Yes." I said as he stared at my screen.

"Uh...I want to ask something." He said and sat down the chair. I let him speak as he let out a smile.

"Af..after you finished this case, could we...perhaps...live a normal life?" He asked.

"Yes, of course." I said.

"I...I want to start again, from the first chapter until the end."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"I have done so many things which I should not have, and we have been through a lot. I want to begin with EXO. With you, specially."

"You know, it has begun before. All the challenges we have been through, it made us stronger, all of us, stronger and stronger. You don't have to begin again, 

because it has started a long time ago. You don't have to regret, the things we have done, I have enjoyed it."
