The truth

When I woke up after what felt like years, my whole body hurt like crazy. The room I was laying in was completely dark. There was a couch by the door and two different chairs by each side of my extremely uncomfortable bed

A beeping noise came from my left and when I turned my attention, my eyes came across a heart monitor

Great, I was at the hospital

My favourite place on the planet

I tried to sit up, but the instant pain in my chest made me lay back down again and all I wanted was to fall back asleep

What felt like hours later, I was still wide awake and beyond bored

- Melissa? Somebody? I tried to say out loud but since I hadn't spoken in a while, it came out more like a whisper

The luck was on my side though and a couple of seconds later, the door to my room opened and there stood my dad

- Dad?! I asked and once again tried to sit up but just like the first time, the sick pain in my chest kept me down
- You're finally awake. Stiles, don't ever fucking scare me like that, okay? He said and sat down at the chair to my right

He took both of my hands in his and brought them up to his mouth, where he carefully kissed them

- I love you so much son and I'm beyond happy that you survived

Right, I tried to kill myself

- Dad, I'm sorry that I put you through this but I can't keep on living this life anymore. Not after what Derek did to me, I whispered and kept my face on the floor
- He was here you know. When you got brought here by your friends, he arrived only a couple of minutes later. He was hysterical and wouldn't stop crying when Melissa said that you only had a small chance to survive, my dad said and gave me a small comforting smile
- He did? W-why? I stuttered
- Cause he loves you more than anything in this world Stiles. When I first saw him here at the hospital I was beyond pissed. I didn't want him to be close to you ever again, so I threatened him with my gun and he left. Hours later, I heard you talking in your sleep. You kept repeating his name, and his name only. That's when I understood how much you actually do love him, even if he broke your heart. You love him like I loved your mum. It was real, and it will always be real

When my dad finally had stopped talking I was sobbing mess. I couldn't stop crying and it was like my whole world came crashing down. Yes, he was right. I loved Derek Hale even if he broke my heart into a million pieces

We have been through so much shit together that even if I wanted, I would never be able to forget about him

- I love him dad. I shouldn't, but it do, I said and watched the smile on my dads lips grew bigger
- No, you should love him. Do you want to know why? Because he hasn't done anything wrong. Scott told me the truth just a couple of hours ago
- What do you mean dad? I asked
- The things Breaden told you, that she's pregnant, it was all a lie. She was mad and jealous that Derek left her for you, so she wanted revenge, dad answered
- What?! A-are y-you sure? I asked and stuttered like I've never done before

Holy fuck

I need to talk to Derek

- I'm 100% sure Stiles
- I need to talk to him dad, I need to talk to Derek, I said
- Of course but first, you need to rest. Your body is finally stable enough but that doesn't mean that your fully recovered, okay?
- Fine, but only if you promise me one thing, I said and smiled at my dad
- And what could that be?
- That when I wake up, you'll have bought curly fries for me, I answered
- That can be arrange. Now sleep Stiles. I love you so much son
- I love you too dad, I said and yawned loudly

My dad soon left my room and I dozed off into a deep sleep

Yes this was a little bit different from the other chapters but I wanted you all to understand how Stiles felt when he finally woke up after surgery. I also wanted you to understand the feelings he had towards Derek and how he reacted when his dad told him the truth❤️ I love you all so much and it would mean the world to me if you guys could comment what you though about this chapter😇
