Harry: “(Y/N)’s getting married today” Louis says simply one morning in a hotel room in Nashville, TN. “And?” Harry questions dryly, knowing all too well what today will bring and his best friend shrugs. “Just a thought” Louis answers, setting Harry’s coffee down before he heads for the door. “See you later” he says over his shoulder, letting the door catch behind him because he knows Harry needs some alone time. Harry continues to sit in the chair by the window, fingers tapping against his jaw before he sighs. By the end of the day you would be a wife but not his. Across the city, you sit in a makeup chair as the makeup artist applies the finishing touches to your makeup for the most important day of your life and you can’t keep the smile off your face. “Nervous?” your maid of honor questions, helping you step into the cap-sleeved, a-line lace dress and you shrug. “A little… do you think we’re, I’m ready for this?” you question, catching her eye in the mirrors reflection as she ties the light pink ribbons together to form a bow between your shoulder blades. “You don’t have to do this, if you’re not ready” she tells you, watching as you close your eyes before a smile graces your face. “I love Luke, I can’t imagine not marrying him today” you say. “Well then, let’s do this Mrs. Bryan” she says, passing you your bouquet once the matilla veil is in place over your head, covering your loose side bun and you grin. You can’t keep the smile off your face when Luke says his vows, tears slipping down your cheeks at his sweet words and all you want is to say “I do” and leave the church as Mrs. Luke Bryan. “Luke, you can kiss your bride” the priest says with a bright smile, chuckling when Luke dips you backwards like something from a romantic movie before his lips are pressing to yours. “Mrs. Bryan” he says against your smiling lips, his country drawl never ceasing to make your heart flutter and you grip his shoulders tighter as he pulls you upright. “Mr. Bryan” you tease, tapping his chin lovingly before he turns towards the crowd with a triumphant first pump and you’re laughing. “@harrystyles: Wishing nothing but the best to @(YTN) and @lukebryanoffical on this beautiful wedding day”

Liam: Liam knew this day would come, your wedding to someone else, but for some reason it seemed too soon. Three years wasn’t too soon, he reminded himself. While he’s moved on, the fact that the girl he’d imagined a life with one day was marrying another man still upset him. You’d been with Ian for two years and were more than happy with the blue-eyed man that had captured your heart and soul but that didn’t stop thoughts of Liam as you got ready. “What do you think Liam is doing today?” you question your maid of honor and she stops what she’s doing, mid curl and stares at you in the mirror. “Probably not thinking about their ex on their wedding day” she responds simply, continuing with loosely curling your hair and you sigh. “I’m not thinking about him, thinking about him… it was just a question. Besides, there’s no one I’d rather be at the end of the day than Mrs. Somerhalder” you assure her and she rolls her eyes playfully. “I think every girl would love to be Mrs. Somerhalder at the end of any day, you’re just the lucky bitch that gets to say she’s his wife” she teases, patting your shoulder as you stand to pull on your wedding dress. You’re playing around on your phone while she zips up the back of your one shoulder, empire waist chiffon wedding dress when you notice you have a notification from twitter. “@real_liam_payne: @YTN is getting married today, seems like only yesterday… wishing you lots of love and happiness!” you read, a smile pulling at your lips before you switch your phone off and toss it in your bag. “I do” you say with a grin, sticking your tongue out at a chuckling Ian before he’s leaning forward to press his lips to yours. “Uh… we aren’t there yet” the priest says with a chuckle, the guests following his lead as they laugh. “Sorry, she just looked too pretty” Ian shrugs, watching as the wind blew the soft fabric of your dress against you before you slapped his chest. “Pay attention or you’ll miss your actual cue” you tease, curling your hands around the back of his neck as he leaned into you. “Whatever you say, wifey” he teases against your lips, kissing for the first time as husband and wife. “Hubby, you’re learning” you smile, taking his hand as he leads you down the aisle and he shrugs. “Well, I got the rest of forever to figure it out if I get some things wrong” Ian reminds you, leading you towards your reception and to the rest of your life.
