Kuroki's pov (A/N only play the song when Kuroki is fighting with Yuki.)
I was able to push Yuki back far enough with the giant sword, I had in my hand at the time. Sure it slowed down my speed when I attacked, but I flash stepped all over the place to throw him off. "Ah-ah-ahhh, you can't hide from me, Kuroki." He smirked, knowing that he had annoyed me when he said my full name. This time I was gonna let him get away with it, "Ahh, so you're hiding now? If you were smart enough, then I wouldn't be able to sense your spiritual pressure." He turned around and attacked me, but I dodged him. I slid back far only to be beaten with a whole bunch blasts of ice. I was thrown back with a lot of force and hit the boulders behind Rei. I gripped the sword tighter and shook off the debris, I stood up and charged at Yuki. He countered my attack but both of us were going all out, and we kept clashing swords. "Whoa, that's amazing." Yukio exclaimed, "I'm surprised, she's lasted this long without a break. Ichigo seems to be doing the same too." Yoruichi spoke up from behind Rei, "Let's just hope ichigo and Kuroki can reach bankai before Rukia's execution starts." Toshihiro said worriedly.
"Why don't you go check on the execution?" Yoruichi said, "Really?" Toshihiro shot up from his seat, "Yeah, go." Toshihiro nodded, before leaving causing Ichigo and me to look over to him. "Where the hell is he going in such a hurry?" I thought, but Yuki broke me out of my thoughts when he attacked me.
Meanwhile....
Gin walks towards Rukia, who looks stunned at first. "I dislike him very much. I dislike the way he acts. It always feels as of he could stun me with just one glance." Rukia thought to herself, Gin talks for a bit. "You know, Renji isn't dead yet." Rukia's eyes widen in surprise and checks seeing that his spirit energy isn't gone, it's just weak. "Do you want me to save Renji and you?" Gin asked Rukia, causing the guards to react in surprise. "What do you mean by that Captain Ichimaru?" The guards in charge of Rukia asked, who didn't understand the question either. "I was joking," Gin said and walked away. Rukia then starts to feel desperate, because Gin destroyed her resolve to accept her death sentence peacefully and made her want to live again. She then thought back to Kuroki.
"Ruki!!!" Kuroki's smiling face appeared, "Rukia! What did you do to Ichigo?!" Her laugh echoed in her mind. "Rukia, I'm so glad we became friends." Kuroki's voice echoed in her mind just as her signature smile did. "I want to live again. I want to stay in Ichigo and Kuroki's closet back in the world of the living. But I don't want people to die because of me." Rukia thought to herself. "Rukia, what are you doing in my closet?" Ichigo's voice echoed in her mind, as she got a flashback.
Flashback.....
"Did you hear that?" Kuroki asked sitting up in her bed, she looked towards Ichigo who was sitting up when he heard the beeping noise. "Yeah, what is that?" Ichigo got up, "Is it coming from the closet?" Kuroki went to stand up and Rukia suddenly opened the closet door. "What the hell?!" Kuroki yelled in surprise, as Rukia came out of nowhere and hit Ichigo with the soul removal glove. "No time to explain," Rukia then hit Kuroki and the two siblings were weirded out. "Rukia, why were you in the closet?" Kuroki asked, "Well, I can't go back to the soul society until I recover all of my powers. And I had nowhere else to stay, so I'll be living in your closet." Rukia smiled, making Ichigo yell and Kuroki to laugh at her brother freaking out.
Flashback over.....
"I have to live for her." Rukia thought to herself. Elsewhere in the seiritei, both captain Tosen and Komamura were still fighting with Kenpachi. They attack at the same time but he blocked them and set them tumbling to the ground. "Stop being so shocked every time I block you both. Now, show your bankai before you die!" Kenpachi shouted. Toshihiro, who was lurking the shadows watched over the fight. "Damn, Kenpachi is giving them hell. Well they deserve it." He shrugged and flash stepped away. "Bankai is not needed for a traitor." Komamura said. "I will finish Kenpachi. I have felt uneasy ever since Kenpachi became a captain in the first place. Kenpachi, you are unforgivable because of all the chaos you cause. Bankai, suzumushi final: Enma Kourogi." Tosen releases his bankai which satisfied kenpachi. Summoning nine rings that spread out and surround the battlefield, Tōsen creates a pitch black dome that negates all use of a person's senses.
Inside, Tōsen explains his Bankai as he walks around slashing at Kenpachi. Suddenly, Kenpachi lunges, smashing his sword into the ground close to where Tōsen was standing. "You are a demon, you have no feat of the dark." Tosen commented.
Meanwhile, Kuroki and Ichigo were both still training to reach bankai. Yoruichi worried more as they began running out of more time.
At the Sokyoku, Rukia realized her resolve was not as strong as she thought. Yumichika and Shuhei continued fighting each other, when Shuhei notices that Tosen had released his bankai he tries to go help. "This fight is not over." Yumichika stops Shuhei from leaving to help Tosen. "A fifth seat could never beat a lieutenant." Shuhei stated and Toshihiro watched from the building behind them as they were talking.
"I'm only fifth seat because the number three is my favorite. But I can't be third seat because that's what position Ikkaku holds. My true zanpakuto's form is a secret to everyone." Yumichika explains and releases his zanpakuto, both Shuhei and Toshihiro's eyes widened, as Fuji Kujaki started glowing. "That's what his zanpakuto truly looks like?! Whoa, that's amazing but why does he keep it from everyone?" Toshihiro asked himself. "I have to find Renji!" Toshihiro flash stepped away from the area.
Renji wakes up to find Hanatoro healing him, he also sees a boy from the 6th division named Rikichi standing nearby. "He helped me sneak out to heal you since I wanted to save Rukia and you were willing to help." Hanatoro explains, "Most of your wounds were taken care of when I first arrived." Hanataro explained. Renji remembers seeing a shadow, when he woke up. "It must have been Captain Unohana." Renji concluded. "Don't worry about saving Rukia, because Ichigo and Miss Kuroki are gonna save her." Renji looked up at Hanataro, "Are those two really gonna save Rukia?" Renji thought to himself, as Toshihiro appeared scaring the crap out of Hanataro and Rikichi. "Calm down Hanatoro, it's just me." Toshihiro chuckled as Hanataro got up and ran over to him. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Rikichi asked, "I came to see Renji." He said cooly, walking over to Renji.
Tosen, who was still fighting Kenpachi, is now out of breathe because the increasing speed at guessing where Tosen was that Kenpachi was giving off. "How is he doing this? I don't understand this." Tosen thought as he tried to catch his breathe. Kenpachi is waiting for the blade to hit, so he can move and dodge it and then he slashes where the blade came from. Gradually, he is getting better and knowing this, he tries to come up with a strategy to find Tōsen. He has an idea and lets Tōsen stab him on the next hit. Then he grabs the sword so he can see and slashes Tōsen across the chest. Tōsen gasps and Kenpachi says he knows how to defeat Tōsen now. He then lets go of the sword.
Tosen then has a flashback of a friend who wanted to become a soul reaper. But upon that happening she soon died, so Tosen charges at Kenpachi still wanting to continue their fight. But kenpachi catches Tosen before he can make contact with the blade. Kenpachi then slashes Tosen again, and in response the bankao collapses. Tosen stands to his feet, panting and dripping blood. "I quit fighting. I don't want to fight a half dead opponent, that wouldn't be fun." Kenpachi said, but Tosen didn't listen and attacked Kenpachi from behind. Kenpachi raises up his sword to kill Tosen but as the blade falls, Komamura jumps in front of it, blocking it with his armored hand and helmet. "Tosen, your feelings will not get to Kenpachi." Komamura said, as his mask started to crumble away revealing that he is a wolf. Komamura sees as Kenpachi is not surprised at this. "I will take over this fight." He said to him. "Looks have nothing to do with fighting," Kenpachi said so Komamura turns and powers up releasing his bankai. "Kokujo Tengen Myoo." A shadow looms over Kenpachi and his eyes widen. A giant armored soldier appears behind Komamura in the same position he is in. "This battle is a killing match!" Komamura shouts before charging at Kenpachi, making Kenpachi laugh as the battle begins.
On Sokyoku hill, Captain Commander Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto tells the others that ceremony will begin. "Only a few people have gathered." Captain Sui-Feng notes. Only the first, second and eight divisions have both their Captains and Lieutenants present. Just then, Byakuya arrives and takes his place in line. Rukia looks at him but he turns to look away from her, causing Seiji to growl under his breathe. "Calm down, Seiji. This isn't that big of a deal." Shunsui said trying to calm him down, but that made it worse.
"What do you mean, this isn't a big deal?!!!" Seiji yelled from his spot, turning all eyes on him. "Is there something wrong third seat Iwasaki?" Genryusai asked, "No, sir." Seiji stepped back in his spot. "Do you have any last words?" Genryusai asked Rukia, "Yes, I do have one last thing to say." She said with a nod. "This isn't right!" Seiji said, "I know but we can't do anything about it." Shunsui said, "Yes, we can! I think the reason the ryoka came here in the first place was to save Rukia! I believe they will not give up and succeed in saving Rukia. One of those Ryoka is my friend and she won't give up until she saves Rukia." Seiji yelled, causing the attention to fall back on him.
"Oh no," Shunsui sighed loudly.
