Alice's Pov:
I feel so betrayed right now, the people who raised me weren't my parents they stole me. I try not to think about it and just lay my head on Adriano's shoulder.
"Alice come let's eat first then we will go home" He says
"Okay" I agree with him
Arriving at the restaurant Adriano gets us a table and Nick is also following us. He orders steak and potatoes while Adriano orders pasta which I think is typical Adriano and I giggle a bit.
"What's funny beautiful?" He says while smiling
"You" I say and he looks confuse
"What?" He says and I giggle
"Only I will know" I tell him
"Aw you guys are adorable!" The waitress says and I blush
"How about you hot stuff? Where's your lady?" She asks Nick
"Somewhere" He says as he shrugs
"Cute, so what do you want honey?" She asks me
Oh that's right I haven't order "I'll just have a water and maybe a chicken sandwich" I tell her
"Okay right away, oh yeah we also have amazing macarons! You have to try them" She says and I love macarons. They are my favorite, I think though should I get them? Oh god I don't know. I want them but I feel I would-
"We'll take a one pack filled with each flavor" Adriano says
"Okay! I'll be back soon with you food" She says and walks away
"You didn't have to do that" I tell Adriano
"I wanted to" He says while putting his hand on mine
I feel on cloud nine for some reason, I missed him so much. Suddenly I remember about tomorrow and I frown. I'm getting married to Nick and there's nothing I can do about it. I don't want to get married to him, I want to be Adriano's wife. I know, I thought it over and over again and I really do love him. These past few months have been magical. I love him and he says he loves me back, isn't that enough? My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the waitress come back with our food.
"Well here honey, I also added some fries for you dear" She smiles at me
"Thank you" I say back with a smile
"And here are your food boys" she places them infront of them
I take a bite of my sandwich and I moan with pleasure. This sandwich is awesome! I look at Adriano and he seems to like his pasta and Nick just was gobbling his food. I giggle
"What? I'm hungry" He says and starts to eat again
I look at Adriano and he has a bit of sauce on his face
"Adriano you got a lil-" I point at the corner of his mouth and one of his eyebrows raised
"Let me get it for you" I take a napkin and wipe it off his face and I see him blush. He coughs
"Uh thank you um Alice" He says as he is picking up his fork again
"Well I'm almost done how about some vodka?" Nick says
"It's in the afternoon scemo, wine will be fine at the moment" Adriano says
"I can understand what you say Adriano, I also speak Italian" He says which surprises me
"You can?" I say surprisingly and Nick nods
"Esibire, Se mi capisci allora saprai cosa sto dicendo sì? Ti odio Nicholas che non ti sposerai mai con la mia bella signora che è mia, morirò prima che qualcun altro la sposassi, tranne me"
"Non intendo sposarlo per motivi romantici Adriano, non voglio che lei muoia idiota. Mia sorella è pazza e la ucciderò presto lo so ... deve essere con lei ogni passo del" surprisingly Nick said fluently, my eyes widened at his accent it was flawless. Where did he learn Italian?
"Good, why can you speak Italian but your sister can't?"
"Well she didn't want to study that much, she was homeschooled and only went to a normal school when she saw you going to a school and asked well actually let face it it's Cecilia we are talking about, she commanded Alexei to go to your school" He said
"Hmm, How come I never seen you guys at school?" Adriano asks
"Jerome, Dmitri and I got homeschooled, we had to train for the mafia anyways. Alexei said he would hand over the family to Cecilia and we needed to be trained to protect her at any cost" Wow talk about extreme parenting
"Nick why didn't you run away or something? Your family is I'm sorry but kinda sucks. It's like they aren't your family they seem not to love you" I tell him and he sighs. Well I made a mistake...
"I tried going away and well he found me and next thing you know I have a huge scar on my back"
"Oh my god Nick you poor thing! How come I never seen it?" I ask him
"Well you haven't seen me without my shirt off, do you want to see it?" He asks me and before I answer Adriano cuts me off
"Okay okay! That's enough Ivanov, no she doesn't want to see you without your shirt" Then I remember the time I saw Adriano shirtless...His muscles I can feel a blush creeping up and Adriano shoots his head at me then squints? What?
"Do you want to see Nick shirtless ALICE?" he grits through his teeth
"Wha? What? N-nnnno" I say while coughing
"Hmm I see, well let's go home" He gets up and take my hand leaving Nick walking behind us.

Arriving at the place where I was, I guess it's a safe house. Adriano didn't want to leave but I told him to go because if he stayed here god knows what will happen, Dmitri could've come or Cecilia.
Walking into the house one of the guards looks at me and catches me by the wrist. I try to pull back but he held me forcefully.
"Well well well seems like the beauty came back" he smirks and I try to get out of his grip but he tightens his grasp.
"Let go of me! if you don't I will tell Nick" I say at him and he laughs
"Nick? You think I listen to him? I only listen to Alexei and Cecilia" He moves his head further to me and sniffs my hair while holding a knife to my throat CREEP!
"NICK! HELP!" As soon as I say this I hear a gunshot and blood on me. I scream bloody murder and collapse on the ground
"ALICE!" The last thing I hear is Nick screaming from afar and see him running towards me. Next thing you know everything is pitch black.

Adriano's Pov:
Seeing Alice go I ask Nick to stay a bit so I can tell him something.
"What?" He asks
"Look you better protect her and if I was to kill your dad and everyone else, you better not take your revenge on her take it out on me because she deserves to live her life she has never done anything bad in her life" I tell him
"You think I would take revenge on you for killing my family?" I look at him confusingly
"Well they are your family I think that would be the most reasonable thing" I tell him and he laughs
"Whats funny?"
"Adriano I hate them as much as you do and maybe even more. I've been waiting for this a long time Adriano. Kill them you have my blessing" He chuckles. Blessing? I'm not asking to marry someone but I guess he has some sense of humor. Why does he hate his family though? Maybe I shouldn't ask
"So? Is that it? I'm leaving. Oh by the way Cecilia if she's pissed off at you don't ignore her. She will seem more mad but because she claims she "loves" you she'll get over it and be more in love with you then before so good luck" he says as he goes out his car
Shit now I have to deal with Cecilia, I wish I was with Alice 24/7. I just want her with me I want her to be mine and I want to be her's. I want to be her's I love Alice McKenzie not just because I found out she's Angela but I loved her from the beginning and I got to fall in love with her twice.
I smile and tell the driver to drive back to my dads home. Cecilia is not living with me because I just couldn't stand her so now as sad as it sounds I live with my dad now. I also managed to sleep in different rooms thank God! My dad didn't have a problem with me living with him again he was surprisingly happy. I ask the driver to stop at a cafe to get some coffee, today is going to be a very long day.

"I do not want to marry her for romantic reasons, I do not want her to die idiot. My sister is crazy and She will kill her soon I know ... she must be with me every step of the way"
