Yes! Is that even a question? Yes! Yes!

"Alright, so we are totally discarding that idea"

"What?! It is bloody brilliant! You people know nothing about proposals!"

"Ronald don't be ridiculous, he's getting married but he's not loosing his dignity that easily"

"You know I'm still here guys!"

The trio sighed as Harry Potter tapped his foot and stared at the piece of parchment filled with proposal ideas. How could people even do this? It was so hard his head was about to explode!

"What if..."

"No, Ron. Nothing that involves terrible heights or me getting physically hurt forever", Harry exclaimed

"You want it to be awesome? Then don't be such a baby!", Ron said while Hermione rolled her eyes

"Harry, I know that you don't want us to pressure you but if you want to propose, you need to do it now", The brightest witch told her friend and took his hand as she tried to be supportive

"I know Mione I just-"

"Don't know how to do it? Harry, if it was up to you, you would've proposed the exact same day you decided to do it. You love her like crazy, what's stopping you?"

"You better love her like crazy or I'll kick your-" Ron muttered until Hermione slapped his arm

"I love her. More than my own life. I'm scared and not about only one thing. It's not only the proposal I'm worried about, it's our lives afterwards. She was right, being with me puts her and her family in danger. I don't want to ruin this because it's the best thing I have"

Harry expected Hermione to talk but she was quiet, not sure of what to say. Surprisingly, it was Ron who spoke up

"Mate, don't be silly. Ginny is one of the strongest people I know, she's all in and you know that. No matter how much trouble or danger you mean, she doesn't care, the only thing she wants is you. It took me a while to understand, and no matter how you decide to propose or what do you say or the problems you will face because you will do it together. She's got your back"

"That's it, Ron! That whole thing you said it gave me an idea!", The boy smiled as his friends stared at him, waiting for his explanation.

"Look, you may not get it and it's probably the most basic idea ever but..."

"That sounds crazy yet brilliant!", Hermione smiled though she had no idea what he was talking about. But he looked determined

"Then you should go with that idea!", Ron said

"I will, right now"

"Wait now?!", His friends stood up

"I don't want to wait anymore. I'm going to go where she is and I'm gonna propose"

"Oh Merlin! You're gonna propose!", The girl smiled and the three friends hugged. He was finally going to do it

"Wait, wait. Take a shower first, you stink", Ron threw him into the bathroom

"Oh and change you shirt, that one's hideous!" Hermione yelled as Ron and her saw their Best friend getting ready for one of the biggest steps of his life.

A step that, if you ask me, he should've done ages ago!

"Just walk in and tell her, Harry. It's no big deal", Harry said to himself. "Of course it's a big deal you moron!"

Had he even grabbed the ring before leaving? It was all blurry and Harry could feel his ears buzzing. He felt like an excited child, he wanted to jump and yell at the top of his lungs that he was about to tell the woman of his dreams how much he loves her.

He had called Ginny's teammates and asked them to leave them alone for a minute. It was very late, around 3 am but The Harpies usually trained until late before a big game.

So as Harry opened the door that lead to the field, he was surprised, he wasn't nervous, or afraid. How could he be afraid, when he was about to spend the rest of his life with Ginny Weasley?

That was of course, if she said yes.

Oh Merlin! What if she didn't said yes!

Everything could go wrong! I mean, what if she doesn't want to marry him with his stupid stupid risks and danger! What if she only saw him as a boy friend? What if he isn't husband material? Or well, what if..

"Harry?", A voice called out in the dark. Yeah, that voice!, "What are you doing here? I thought we were meeting at home?"

FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE POTTER! Have you forgotten how to talk or something?! Do you even have anything prepared to say?

"I, yeah that was the plan. But there was something that I've wanted to say.", Was that the right way to begin? Was there any other appropiate way to begin?

Oh well, here goes nothing

"You know, years ago, I tried so hard to talk to you and to just have the guts to tell you how I felt for you and these past months, I just felt like I was 16 all over again", Harry laughed and Ginny smiled a little, confused but charmed as usual.

She thought that it was probably one of those cheesy moments that Harry usually has when he missed her a lot or something, so she lets him talk.

"I guess i understand it know, it doesn't matter the place or the words or anything as long as it's you standing in front of me.", And as he finally reached her he was able to see her face. That same face that he wanted to wake up to every single morning for the rest of his life

"I am not sure of how long I have loved you but I can't imagine a life where I am not head over heels for you. Because I just look at you and I know that you are everyhting that I've ever dreamt of. I was so sure that i could never have it all, that there was always going to be something missing for me. But, I was also sure that I wouldn't live to be able to do this"

And Harry Potter got down on his knees and smiled. 

"You have always been able to defeat the odds and to make me believe in the impossible. Because now I know that maybe i can have everyhting, because you are my everyhting."

Ginny Weasley had always thought that proposals were cheesy and that if and only if she ever got married, she wouldn't cry. Well, I can't say she kept that promise. Because as she wiped a tear away with the sleeve of her sweater, she took Harry's hand with her other hand.

"So, if you have not guessed by now what I'm doing.. Ginny Weasley, will you-"

"YES! Is that even a question? Yes! Yes!"

And while a few minutes ago, Harry was feeling unsure. Now he held his soon to be bride in his arms and hugged her like there was no tomorrow. 

All the lights in the field turned on and Ginny pulled away and kissed him until there was no air in her lungs.

One step closer to that happily ever after.
