Alpha and Omega

Unlike other times that Jin takes his brothers to their classes, it's always been Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Namjoon. However, he had two extra guests. Namjoon decided to bring his half brother Hoseok and his cousin Taehyung for the ride, making Jin's car a little cramped.

Jimin and Jungkook sat in the back, Taehyung sat in between them and Hoseok sat on the floor, Namjoon of course sits in front holding hands with his mate. They know that it isn't safe, but who cares when it's a small town?

Taehyung knew he had a weird, strong connection to Jungkook. He couldn't quite place the feeling, but he knew something was there. Jimin clears his throat and smiles at the younger boy, "What do you think we're doing in math today?"

Taehyung arches his eyebrow, "What?"

Jimin frowns, "We're in the same math class. And history... And music appreciation... And lunch."

Taehyung arches his eyebrow again, "Really? What grade are you in?"

"I'm a junior Taehyung, we literally sit right by each other in each of these classes? You don't remember me? Jimin?"

Taehyung gives him a blank look before gasping, "Are you the one they call Christian ChimChim?!"

Jimin groans. It was a stupid nickname he tried to get people to call him when he was younger, and ended up doing something he regrets the most: he went through his first heat at school.

His mother told him he had to stay home from school since everyone but Jimin could tell he was in heat, but the younger wouldn't listen and went to school anyway. He ended up going into heat when he was heading to class, and so many unmated alphas wanted him. All he can remember is laying on the floor, screaming and begging someone to stop the pain from the heat.

He winces, "Yeah, that was me."

Taehyung laughs, "I can't believe it! I remember it like it was yesterday, even though it was four years ago. My brother almost lost his cool and knotted you in the middle of the hallway!"

"Hey, do everyone a favor and leave my brother alone. It wasn't his fault he went through heat in the middle of school!" Jungkook exclaims and hits Taehyung's shoulder.

Taehyung growls, and scoots closer to Jungkook, "What was that pretty boy?"

Jungkook audible gulped and instinctively cowards away from the Alpha. But Jimin wouldn't let that happen. Before the oldest of the three could do anything, Namjoon looks back and barks, "Tae! Leave them be."

Taehyung snorts and looks away, not before catching a glimpse at Jungkook once more and felt that string in his heart snap taunt. He stares at the boy, before his lip curls in a snarl and he leans closer, gripping Jungkook's arm in a tight grip, "Mate."

Jimin smacks Taehyung's arm, trying to pull him off his brother, but Taehyung growls, "Mate."

Hoseok breaks them free, squirming his way in between the mates before Taehyung does something stupid, like marking his mate in a cramped car and causing pain to Jungkook. Jungkook cowers into Jimin, whimpering at his bruised wrist as he holds it close to him. Only one though circled his mind as he locks eyes with his pissed off mate that is scaring him.

They are mates.

Jungkook had one hell of a day, if he does say so himself. He tried avoiding Taehyung like the plague, until around lunch time.

He told Jimin about his plans for ditching the rest of the day before their first class, and made sure he was alone before he went to his locker to pack his things.
