Since the Waiver took some serious damage, we're stuck in 1975. Leipzig, Germany to be exact. Gideon told Rip that he was needed at the MedBay. He, Stein, and I ran to the room to see Kendra shaking violently. She kept whimpering Carter's name. I got an idea on what will calm her down, for the time being.

Ray ran inside the room as I grabbed her hand. "What are you doing?" He asked urgently.

I ignored him and bit my lip when I felt the burning sensation. Black veins crawled its way up my arm. This hurts every time, which is why I don't do it that much. Kendra took a deep breath before falling back to sleep.

"Remarkable." Stein whispered.

Ray looked at me, "What did you do?"

I slowly removed my hand from Kendra's. "I took it away. I took her pain away."

"You can do that?" I nodded. "What's next? You can read people's thoughts?"

I glared up at him, "No, you idiot." I looked at Kendra again before looking at the geniuses. "She's getting worse. Whatever's in that dagger, we need to get it out eventually. Or else she'll die."

Rip told the rest of the group about Kendra's condition. Jax thought maybe we could time jump to get the items that could save her. But, we couldn't. If Rip had the items that could save her, he would have used it already.

"Kendra wouldn't survive the time jump anyway." Snart said. Rip gave him a look, but he just shrugged. "I pay attention."

"To sum up, Carter Hall is dead, the girlfriend's not too far behind, Vandal Savage is sitting pretty in 1975, which we're all stuck in." Mick concluded. He raised his arms up. "That how the plan supposed to work, Rip?"

"Obviously not, but the mission is simple. We stop Vandal Savage here in the past and we save the future." Rip said.

Yeah, right. Something tells me he was saying it more for himself. I crossed my arms, "Simple don't mean easy, Captain."

Rip looked at me, "Oh, I never said it was. The benefit of being a Time Master is that the length and breadth of history gives one...perspective. I've seen darker days. I've seen men of steel die and dark knights fall, and even then I accomplished my mission no matter what." He walked towards the computer. "Gideon, what is our status?"

"When the Waverider was attacked by Chronos, the Jumpship was damaged. Unless you make repairs, we will be unable to -"

Jax interrupted the computer. Person? Hologram? Whatever it is. "Wait, Jumpship?"

"It's a small expeditionary vessel at the belly of the Waverider," Rip looked at Jax like he won the lottery. "you're a mechanic! You have a look at it."

"Uh...auto mechanic." Jax gestured to the ship. "Uh...spaceship." He reminds me of Stiles sometimes, him and Ray. Eventually, he gave up. "Okay, if you've got a set of wrenches, I'll see what I can do."

Rip nodded in thanks before he turned to leave. Mick called him back, "What about the rest of us? Do we just sit?"

"Capital idea, Mr. Rory. You're not nearly as thick as most people say." Rip said before leaving.

"Thick...does that mean stupid?" He did not just ask that.

I rolled my eyes before saying sarcastically, "No, he's calling you fat."

Mick looked down at himself before shrugging his shoulders. I gave him a disbelieving look. Yeah, he's really stupid. How is he capable of robbing banks with that small brain of his?
