MAXS POV
I've been looking for a few days now. I've had no communication with home. I told Scar where I was going and told her to inform the others.
"But what about Mia's will. We have to look at it together before you go!" She replied. I told her no. This is more important.
Mason and Lily asked where I was going on my way out. I told them to get a bitter sweet thing called revenge. I am determined to do this. I will do this. Nothing will stop me shooting Okward down.
"Looking for something?" A deep voice with a country accent says from behind me. I recognise that voice. I turn around to face Okward. So, he was living with Herobrine all along. Hm. I'm surprised.
"Yes." I reply casually.
"What are you looking for? Maybe I can help you." Okward said, politely enough.
"Revenge." I said. I pulled out my gun and shot Okward in the head. He's gone. He's dead. The deed is done.
"I have avenged you, Mia. Now your soul can rest peacefully." I said quietly before turning around and walking back home.
When I got home, no one was there.
I went through to the bathroom and cleaned the blood off my hands and face.
Once all trace of me killing Okward was gone, I went into the living room.
Mason and Lily were sitting on the couch, waiting.
"Max?" Mason asked.
"It's good to see you Max. Please, sit down." Lily said.
I sat down. The others filed into the room and sat around me.
"We were worried sick! Please don't go off like that again!" Alesa said, her voice wracked with concern and grief. They must've thought I killed myself. No contact for days.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"We need to look at Mia's will. To find out what goes to who." Scar said. Adam pulled out an A4 sized envelope. He took out the will and handed it to Ross.
"I would like my room to go to my children when they are old enough to sleep on their own. I want my money to be split evenly between all of my friends and family. My jewellery goes to Scar, Kayla and Alesa they can decide who gets what. My work equipment goes to Ross, Adam and Max. I would like Max to decide where everything else goes. Whether it's him or a friend it doesn't matter. I want the company I own to go to Max, he will care for it properly." Ross read out. I nodded. It isn't really a company anymore. We still have all the same people working for us, but the office building we abandoned. Everyone just works from home.
I nod and stand up.
"Where are you going?" Scar asked.
"The office. There's something I have to do." I said. Everyone gave each other puzzled looks as I left the house for the office.
