The Operator Symbol (Theory)

Okay so... I was looking at a list of the word "operator" in different languages

And I saw that Operator in Swahili is "Alama"

I decided to make sure that this meant Operator. So of course, I translated it.

"Alama" means Mark, in Swahili. And no, it's not the name. It means a "symbol" or a "sign"

And the operator has his own symbol... (he actually has two. The normal "0" and the circle with an x)

And I thought, if they actually were trying to point this out, they were pretty smart.

So the operator basically means. A sign or a symbol.

(JUST A THEORY. OKAY GUYS? THEN AGAIN, I NEVER SAID MY THEORIES WERE GOOD. THIS WAS JUST AN IDEA)
