"What was the vision about?" Luscious asks eyes wide. But I'm more concerned with the Monster Man and why I can hear him in my head. I look around some more, the I see a flash of something to the left of us. It could be my mind playing tricks on me, but I am almost positive it is him. I really thought demons would be sneakier.
"We have to go." I say standing up quickly and brushing off my pants.
"What? Why?" Luscious asks confused.
"The man who killed you is here." I say and begin walking in the direction of my car.
"That's crazy I would know if he was here. He would have attacked us." Luscious says following me out of the woods. I think over what he said, why hadn't he attacked us? I decide to ignore it for a second and say, "Well obviously not, because he just told me he was a demon."
This catches his attention, "He what?!" Luscious yells.
"No wait. That's was in the vision." I say unscrambling the thoughts in my head before speaking again, "He just told me that my 'vision' wasn't really a vision." I say as I break through the trees out into the clearing where my car is.
"Holy shit Miranda. That's crazy." Luscious says the obvious.
I roll my eyes and unlock my car and climb in. By now the wind is whipping and the trees and the are swaying back and fourth dangerously.
I put my keys in the ignition and pull out of the field.
"Your going to have to give me directions back to my house." I say as I pull onto the road and watch the sun sink lower in the sky.
How long were we there? I'm check my clock and it says it's almost 7. Holy crap we were there for about 3 hours and now the sun was setting!
I miss when the sun set at 9 p.m. Where has summer went?
"Turn right here." He says and I turn right onto a somewhat familiar street.
After a couple minutes I'm pulling in my driveway.Right as I pull in I notice my Mom heading out of the house.
"I'll be gone for a couple hours. I'm going to run some errands. Watch Tristan for me." She says opening her car door.
"Were you going to leave him alone?" I ask with wide eyes. She shuts the car door and shrugs before pulling away. Leaving Tristan alone is not a good idea, she can be crazy sometimes. I swear she doesn't think things through, she just does them, and if they turn out badly she doesn't really care. Unless it has to do with her job, then it's a totally different story!
I shake my head at her and walk in the house pulling off my combat boots.
"Tristan?" I call loudly.
"In here!" He says and pops his head out from Mom's office.
"Get out of there!" I scold as I walk by.
"Fine." He says hanging his head and crossing in front of me to sit on the couch in the living room and watch TV.
"Hey Luscious!" He calls as I jog up the stairs to my bedroom.
"Hi Tristan!" Luscious says before gliding up the stairs. Like literally gliding.
I tear my eyes away from Luscious and open my bedroom door. Only to jump back into the hall because of the man standing in my room.
"What the-" I say looking at him and stepping back into my room.
"Who the hell are you?" I ask as I look at the man standing in my room. More like teenager. He looks my age, and he has dark short hair, that has a slight curl to it. He's wearing a Pink Floyd shirt and dark jeans and black converse. But what catches my eyes the most is his body swaying back and fourth like a mirage. Oh he's a ghost.
