Chapter 13

Plagg woke up 2 days later with a really angry moody persona.

"W-why are you pushing me away...you don't have to act strongly if something is bothering you Plagg. Please tell me... What your hiding? What have you been thinking about Plagg? Please, Plagg don't shut me out." In a flash, Plagg turns and glares down at Tikki eyes glowing red.

"I said DROP IT. What part of that don't you get? Stop being a pest and leave it alone!" he seems so unfamiliar to her she doesn't know what to say.

"Fine," she says as she lowered her voice angrily with a slight squeal of fear and left the hideout. 

At that moment she left, Plagg realizes what he did. He went toward the exit where Tiki left but not to follow her. He climbs up to the cliff to see Tikki at the creek by herself.

"Sorry Tikki for being a jerk," he mumbles as he hid his face into his knees.

"Maybe you should go down there to tell her." It was Nooroo he came and sat next to Plagg looking at the clouds moving pass by.

"Can't."

"Can't or won't?" Nooroo states.

Plagg stayed quiet.

"All she does is be concern about you."Plagg stays quiet as he slightly looks down at Tikki crying, "I can conclude you want to protect her from dangers, but Plagg hiding things from her won't."

"I know how she will react..."

"What are you keeping away from her?"

"2 Things. The 1st one is personal and it about why I can't sleep. The other is about her.." Nooroo nodded to show he was listening, " My past came back to haunt me in Kigomb..."

"So there more background to your street rat life?"

"Yeah, I joined a lot of groups trying to find my place. Even though everyone thinks I'm dead. That group was a lot like you guys but I never followed order so I left."

"So you regret leaving them?" Nooroo assumes.

"Something happens to them and I couldn't save them."

"I'm sorry for your loss."

"Eh don't worry. The thing is some old rivals were in Kigomb looking for me. That when I started to regain all those memories."

"Which is the caused of why you to have nightmares?"

"Yeah... Then what I'm hiding from Tiki, is another reason why."

"Tell her Plagg. Secrets won't help." Nooroo states.

"How can I! she'll leave." Plagg let out in panic.

"So you do like her?" Nooroo chuckled, "Plagg just trust her that she'll come back. Just remember to not abandon her."

"I do trust her. But...." he stops in thought, " Nevermind, I'll go talk to her." Plagg says as he got up, "Thanks Nooroo."

Then plagg jumps down through the trees. Nooroo crossed his arm behind his neck, "That's how you make Plagg go admits his feelings to Tikki" he sighed with a slight chuckle. As he knew the Ming and Trixx were nearby struggling with trying to listen to the conversation of his and Plagg.

"You didn't!" Bing squealed in annoyance as she goes next to Nooroo to see over the cliff.

"Come on everyone inside. They need their space." Nooroo orders.

"For our leader your no fun," Trixx whined.

Plagg jumped down from a tree. He hesitates in every step as he got closer to Tikki now staring at the creek. She heard him and look away.

"T... I'm sorry."

"You didn't do anything. Your right I'm a pest. I shouldn't be here..." Tikki tears up.

"No, you belong here." Plagg wiped her tear away from running down her cheek, "If only you knew how upset I am with myself... I was being a huge jerk to you."

"Then why are pushing me away?"

"I don't know.. I guess it that I'm not used to this. You know, actually saying what going on."

"Yeah, I get it. But, usually are able to talk to with me."

"Heh, I guess that making it hard."

"Plagg tell me what going on. I don't want to be confused."

"Okay, I'll stop confusing you." Plagg stood up, "Look I don't want to sleep because I get scared that if I sleep I might get nightmares. They are always about a gang I used to hang with and something I am not telling you."

Tiki froze when he mention in fear of what he might say about her, she asks, "What happened to them that you're scared of?"

"We tried to steal a gem from a cave called the golden Chi. It was one of those weird legend things. The gang never trusted me to explain. So we went to the cave where it was. I was able to help them to get there. They left me out the cave to keep watch. Something happened and it was dark I couldn't help, I lost them..."

"The dark scares you?" Tikki questioned.

"Yeah."

"Plagg sorry for asking." Tiki apologized as she got up ready to run from embarrassment.

Plagg caught her hand to stop her, "Its okay, I rather tell you the whole story than anyone else."

"But I shouldn't get involve I should've let you be by yourself," Tikki says.

"T its okay. You have such a curious heart that it goes of hand." Plagg chuckles.

"I just, I don't want to make you hate me. See I really like being your fr-" Suddenly, his lips crashed against hers and before she knew it she was running her fingers through his hair and felt safe in his arms. Her heart raced as she felt his arm wrap around her. She shut her eyes slowly. Finally, as she pulled away, her heart filled with Joy and extreme butterflies.
But this time, something amazing happened.  The kiss was soft and gentle, but filled with so much care and love for the other. After a few seconds, Plagg pulled away, with her not wanting to never leave his arms.

"T, I have to tell you the truth."

"Plagg what's going on?"
