"Don't be so insulting. I'm sure that mate of yours doesn't like it."
"It doesn't matter much. This kid looks innocent enough to go to the main campus. He won't be here long."
"That's where you could be wrong. I saw him try to flip Korosensei this morning."
"That little thing? I don't believe it."
"Well we can see in a few minutes. Gym is next." The class starts whispering behind me. I simply pull Nagisa quicker.

"There are a few things you need to know. One: We are a class of assassins. Two: We use these blades to try to kill out teacher. Three: We are going to be the center of attention for a little while." I smile, handing him one of our thin silver knives. He takes it, back against me.

"Okay, but is everybody going to be making comments like I can't hear them?" He throws the knife at a target, hitting the red dot in the middle.

"Yea. Probably." I lean over him, giving him a peck on the cheek. "You're just cute. Everyone wants a bit of my human." I hand him another knife, pointing to the second target. He makes the hit.

"I'm certainly not considered human anymore." He giggles, hitting his tail against mine.

"I can still see you had toes a few hours ago." I fake an annoyed hiss, hugging his middle as I hand him a knife. He stares at the target for a second, supposedly aiming, before turning quickly and throwing at our teacher. The freak yelps as it slices through his arm, holding the spot in pain. The stares alarm him.

"Was I not supposed to do that?" He looks around, covering his mouth to make himself look more innocent.

"You were definitely supposed to do that." I smile, lifting him onto my shoulders. "My soulmate landed the first hit on Korosensei!" I cheer. Everybody else joined in, except the teacher, who decided to pout to Karasuma while fixing himself up.

"How long have you been trying to kill him?" Nagisa whispers, trying to wiggle off my shoulder. I hold him a little tighter and reply.

"Since the beginning of the school year." I laugh, allowing the other students to talk to him.

"That was amazing!"
"You were so far away! How could you have it him?!"
"You've got to show us some moves."
"I get it now, you can keep Karma on a leash."

"Excuse me? I think we have some training to do. By ourselves." I let go of him, causing him to float of my shoulder. He makes a meep noise but nods in approval.

"Don't keep the human all to yourself!" Korosensei calls from his spot inside.

"HUMAN?!" The class shrieks in unison.

"Shit." I mumble, turning back around. "I suppose this would be a good of time as any to invite you guys to my party. It's for my newly mer-made soulmate."

"Oh my goodness that was embarrassing! And a party?! I might not survive." He collapses onto my sofa, laying his head on my lap.

"Sure you will. Don't be a party pooper. You'll love it." I pet his hair.

"I know. I'm just not a huge fan of people, okay."

"I know. But I have to show you off!" I get off the couch, pulling Nagisa with me. His blue tail twitches when I grab his sides, kissing a line along his shoulders from behind.

"I'm not much of a prize, I can assure you." He giggles, trying to escape. What's that supposed to mean? Does he think he's only mediocre? And to me? This is my new everything. It's not usual to have a human soulmate, so I'm not super sure how they adjust, but shouldn't he think more of himself? "H-hey, you okay? Why'd you stop?" He turns around, only lightly held by my loose arms.
