I was planning on asking out Jen tomorrow but she's hanging out with Ricardo. If I do it today then I'll do it in front of sam but he'll get mad and flip out on Jen. Should I just wait? should I do it anyways? I sighed making them all look at me.

"What?" Jen rose an eyebrow.

"I'm just tired." I smiled at her.

She nodded and looked back at sam who was on the phone with stass, cancelling their plans.

"Sorry." Sam mumbled before hanging up.

"Is she mad?" Nate chuckled.

"Very. " sam sighed.

"Then just go." Jen shrugged.

You could see she was pissed off about it.

"You sure?" Sam asked.

"Positive." She said before getting up and going out into the back yard.

"Jen." Sam sighed.

"I got it." I tried following her but sam stopped me.

"She isn't your property, stop trying to fix everything that isn't your problem." He shoved me lightly.

"I'm only trying to make her feel better. It's her birthday and you made plans to go out with some other girl. " I scoffed.

"I wouldn't have made other plans if you would just back off."

"She doesn't want you." My Jaw clenched.

"And she wants you? You can't treat her good enough." Sam laughed.

Jack stared at me.

"Fuck you sam." I pushed past him and went outside.

Jen was next to the pool, hugging her knees.

"Hi." She mumbled as she saw me come out.

"Hi." I sat besides her.

"I heard everything." She turned her head to face me.

I looked up at her.

"You know I couldn't say-"

"You couldn't say what j? That he treats me like I'm a piece of trash? You know it, I know it. Jack knows it. He knows it. Stop being so scared to say things and do things. " she rose her voice.

"Okay, Im sorry-"

"You aren't! You said you wanted this but you're still being-"

I cut her off by cupping her cheeks.

"Don't. " she glared.

"Jen, im sorry." I traced her jaw with me thumb.

She closed her eyes and shook her head.
