chapter 3: "That was weird"

Zack's POV

what was Summer going on about, when she said that she saw Tomika and Freddy walking out the same house together. as I was think I accidentally bumped into two people. I look up to see Tomika and Freddy walking together.

Zack: Sorry, oh hey guys

Tomika: hi Zack

Freddy: hi dude.

Zack: Freddy what did you do yesterday after school

Freddy: I was at my house why

Zack: were you with anyone

Freddy: no why are you asking me this Zack

Zack: I was just curious as I sent you a text and you didn't reply

Freddy: my phone ran out of charge last night and when it was fully charged I was asleep

Zack: what about you Tomika what were you doing

Tomika: I was at the skatepark

Zack: ok, where are you guys going?

Freddy: Mr Finn's class

Tomika: the class we are in everyday

Zack: right, I meant what are you doing together

Freddy: what is there a rule against us walking together

zack: no, no i-i'll just go now

Freddy: that was weird

Tomika: yeah even for Zack

I then leave to go to the classroom and ten minutes later Freddy and Tomika walk in

Tomika's POV

as me and Freddy walked into the classroom everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at us with their mouths open, between you and me it was pretty awkward.

Tomika: (whispering) Freddy why is everyone looking at us?

Freddy: (whispering) I don't know

Summer: why are you guys together

Tomika: what I can't walk with one of my friends?

Summer: oh, I guess you can.

Summer's acting different, should I say something.

Tomika: Sum are you ok

Summer: yeah, yeah I'm fine Tomika

Tomika: Sum I know your not, talk to me

Summer then drags me out of the classroom

Summer: were you with Freddy yesterday

Tomika: no I was having a family meal with my parents Sum

Summer: were you really, so you weren't with Freddy at any point yesterday

Tomika: no I wasn't Sum ok

I really hope Summer doesn't figure out that I lied to her about Freddy
