Chapter 2: He Knows Everything

It wasn't long to Kevin (Dad) got home. Erin let him get settled and then he came into the kitchen. He kissed her and asked "how was your day?" 

"Uneventful until I got a call from Charlotte's school" 

"What happened she win some kind of award?"

"Not exactly" said Brant with a laugh. 

"Out" said Erin sternly to Nol and Brant. 

Kevin gave her a questionable look.

"What happened?"

"Apparently she cheated on a history test today"

"What?" Kevin got very serious. 

"Yes, I got a call saying she was peaking at the test of the person sitting next to her. She has Saturday detention and got a zero on the test."

"Did you talk to her already?"

"For a little, I already grounded her. And I sent Brant and Nol to talk to her earlier. But I don't know how convinced I am that she did it. But she won't tell us what really happened if she didn't do it" 

"Where is she?" 

"Her room probably" 

"Brant!" yelled Kevin. 

"Go get your sister and tell her to come to my office" 

"Yes sir" 

"Then go somewhere else. Nol!"

Brant ran up the stairs. 

"Yes?"

"I don't want either of you spying, so outside, upstairs something away from here"

"Yes sir" Nol went upstairs too. 

Brant went into Charlotte's room. She was asleep. He went over to her and sat down next her and gently shook her awake. "Wake up sweet pea. Dad's home and wants to see you in his office" 

Charlotte rolled over halfway "Okay"

"Last chance to tell" said Brant patting her on the back. 

Charlotte gave him a look. 

"Fine, don't,  but I would hurry up if I was you. Making dad wait is only going to make it worse" he said getting up. 

Charlotte rolled out of bed and headed downstairs, just as Blaine was walking in the door. 

Blaine grabbed her arm. She tried to pull away.

"You wanna tell me right now what's going on before you go in there and talk to dad?"

Charlotte pulled her arm away and kept walking. A few seconds later Ben, Brian and Luke walked in just as Charlotte walked into Kevin's office. Erin poked her head out.  She looked down the hall at Blaine and to the 3 others. 

"I'm assuming you all know. So I suggest you make yourself scarce until dinner" said Erin. 

They ran off and upstairs. 

Charlotte was in the office for a good half hour talking to her parents. They then came out. 

"Go set the table please" said Erin to Charlotte. 

"Yes Ma'am" Charlotte went to the dining room.

"I'm going to find our sons" said Kevin.

Erin nodded and headed to the kitchen.
