Chapter 3

I put Iggy's arm over my shoulder and I walked with him to his room. Zero was glaring at me. Zero we need to make friends.

I gently sat Iggy down on his bed. I felt his forehead again, it was like a heatwave on his face. "Iggy, I'm just going to go downstairs and get some cold water. Ok?" I turned around to go but...

Iggy's hand clutched onto my sleeve, "Don't go, Jeannie. Just stay I'm fine. Max didn't even notice, so I guess I'm fine. Just stay ok?"

"Ok. Just don't over do yourself." I took his hand, "Get some rest, I'll stay so go to sleep."

Iggy closed his eyes and he fell asleep within minutes. At that time, I went downstairs and got a bowl filled cold water and a flannel.

Whilst walking out of the kitchen, Zero zoomed right in front off me. 

"What's up?" I smiled at him, "I thought you were hitting it off with Max?"

"Haha, very funny. What do you see in that guy?" Zero gave me one of his intense glares that makes you have to answer.

"What, you mean Iggy? Well he was ill so I'm just looking after him since he took me in when I was injured."

"IF YOU LIKE HIM SO MUCH, WHY DON'T YOU JUST KISS HIM!" Then Zero stormed out of the door, what does Zero mean? he always knew my intentions...

I wondered what he meant...

Meanwhile... (Zero's P.O.V)

Why did I do that, why did I say such a thing to Jeannie?"

The wind blew through Zero's hair as he thought why he screamed at Jeannie.

I couldn't be jealous could I? No, she's just a friend. Yeah that's what she is. Just a friend. She's only helping him, like she always helps people always. 

Sparkle That light JEANNIE! 

Zero ran quickly back into the house.

Jeannie's P.O.V

I jogged back upstairs and I soaked the flannel in the cold water and I placed it on Iggy's head. Iggy looks so much like Zero when he's sleeping. I wonder if they have any relations?

As I lifted my hand from Iggy's face his hand clutched onto mine and he violently pulled me closer to him and hugged me.

"Iggy?"

"Shhh, Jeannie don't make a fuss, I just wanted to know what you looked like, I already know you're beautiful, from the way you talk to me; the way you care for others and your glistening smile."

My face was burning red. Did he just say that?

"Jeannie." He pulled me in closer and kissed me, a bright light emitted between our lips, my healing powers was working it's magic.

"JEANNIE!!" Zero stormed in and pulled me away from Iggy and punched Iggy right in the jaw. "Don't touch her..." Zero yanked me out of the room and slammed the door behind him.
