Topanga opens the door to reveal Maya and a police officer.
"Baby Girl, you're back!" Katy happily yells, as she runs over to Maya.
Just before Katy reaches her daughter, Officer James says, "New York code 145."
"Vandalism?" Topanga exclaims.
"What?" Cory asks.
"What?" Katy repeats, as she stops dead in her tracks.
"Maya," Riley, says, her face filled with concern.
"You," Maya says to Riley, as she narrows her eyes."You did this." Maya turns back to the officer. "Put me in jail for the rest of my life and don't allow visitors or else she'll come and bring me a stupid lemon meringue pie!"
"It's for you and all your jailbird friends," Riley declares.
The officer looks at Riley. "You're the girl whose head she put back on."
"What?" Riley inquires.
"She's my best friend and she ruined me!" Maya yells.
"Well, she's my best friend and I love her," Riley shouts back.
Just then Zay and Farkle burst into the door.
"We couldn't find her," Farkle states.
"Looks like somebody found her," Zay remarks.
"Maya, what did you do?" Farkle asks.
"She did a number on a public park. A park on my beat. My park. I watch that park every day, and this isn't the first time it has happened," the officer states.
"I'm sorry," Maya shyly apologizes.
"You all care about this girl?" Officer James questions.
"We do," Cory answers for everyone.
"Well, we're gonna take a little field trip," the officer starts. "I'm gonna show you all just want this girl did to my park. Let's go."
As Riley walks by Maya, the blonde spats, "you did this."
"What? Maya, I wasn't even with you," Riley innocently responds.
"Yeah, you were," Maya declares.
[At Christopher Park.]
"I had a brick in my hand," Maya says.
"Why?" Riley questions.
"Because somebody went after you," Maya answers.
"Who, Maya?" Cory inquires.
"These two girls I used to know. I could have been them," Maya starts. "Riley, I would have been them. But I'm not. Because they think a hammer and a brick makes you strong. And as much as I wanted to throw a brick through a window, I know that if I did that, that's what would make me weak. I'm strong because there's something inside me that stops me now. That part inside me, I'm gonna call it Dorothy."
Riley laughs. "Call it whatever you want. I'm just glad that you didn't do anything bad."
"Yeah, but I did," Maya responds, shyly diverting her eyes.
"My park," the officer interjects. "I watch this park every day."
"I'm sorry," Maya says.
"You know, I'm not gonna give up on that Carla and Renee. And I don't want you to be like them, okay?" Officer James replies.
"I can't," Maya smiles. "Dorothy won't let me."
"New York code 145. Vandalism. I'm gonna write this one up. Then I'm gonna put it into a folder. Then I'm gonna misplace the folder. And if I never hear from you two little hoodlums ever again, that folder remains misplaced," he explains.
"I'm a hoodlum," Riley says, interrupting Maya and the officer's conversation.
"Why are you giving me a break? Again?" Maya asks.
"My park. I look at this park every day. I have hope for this park, too. Thank you," the officer says.
"Thank you," Maya responds.
The blonde turns towards Riley. "Look Riley, I know what I did was wrong and stupid. I know that you probably don't want to date me anymore, or be my best friend, maybe even friend, but I need you to know something. If what I did at that party results in us never seeing each other I again, I need you to know that no mater what you will always be with me. You're my hope. I have realized that nothing and no one can take my hope away from me. I'm just sorry that I didn't figure that out sooner."
"Bay window. Now," Riley says, as she grabs Maya's hands and starts to drag her back to her apartment.
