It's the next day, the friends are all sitting in history when someone interrupts the classroom.

"Lucas Friar," a voice says.

"Yes," Lucas responds.

"You need to come with me. Bring your things."

Lucas gathers his stuff and follows the man. It's the principal.

Riley, Maya, Farkle, Zay and Smackle all arrive at Topanga's after school to do their homework together.

Riley is the first to ask, "do any of you know what happened to Lucas? I haven't seen him since he was pulled out of class."

"No," Zay says, "I was hoping he would show up here. This isn't like him."

"I know what happened," Farkle responds quietly.

"Well what happened?" Maya asks.

"He showed up at my house last night... His mother kicked him out of the house."

"Why would she do that?" Riley questions.

"He told her that you two were dating, and she said that he could no longer be friends with you guys. She said that your love is wrong."

"What?" Is all Maya could say.

"Yeah, but he-" Farkle says before getting cut off.

"He chose the side he wants to fight on," someone says.

"Lucas, why are you here? You shouldn't be here."

"This is exactly where I should be, Riley," Lucas tells the brunette. "What my mom thinks is right, I think is wrong. I need your guys' help to change her view."

"But-" Riley starts.

"But nothing, you guys mean the world to me, and I can't just loose you like that."

"What if you just tell your mom that you're not friends with us anymore? Then she will leave you alone and we can still be your friends behind her back," Maya says.

"I don't want you guys to have to hide, not anymore. Plus... If I don't change her mind soon, there is no way we would be able to still be friends."

"Why not?" Riley demands.

Lucas doesn't respond.

"His mom already bought a plane ticket for him to go back to Texas. He leaves this Friday," Farkle speaks for him.

"What?" Everyone but Lucas and Farkle shout in unison.

"I don't want to go back. New York is my home. You guys are my home," Lucas says to all of his friends. "I need your help."

"Then that's what you'll get, Ranger Rick," Maya smiles.

"Thanks," says Lucas.

"Lucas Friar, come with me right now," an unknown voice commands.

"Mamma, please," pleads Lucas.

"Now," his mother reaffirms.

Lucas slowly gets up from his seat and walks towards his mom.
