Dumbledore's death

Months later...

Voldemort had no idea were Rebekah was, even because he thought he would search her after he planned to make Draco kill Dumbledore so, he would try to kill Harry Potter once again and if Draco wouldn't complete his mission, he would have killed him all by hisself. Draco and Rebekah secretly started to see each other again. Damon and Elena's wedding was near and he didn't want that Alaric's wedding scene repeated, he was hoping with all his heart to not lose Elena again, he waited years for her to wake up without Bonnie dying, it was really hard. Sometimes he was scary that he would wake up and realize everything was just a dream. And even for her it wasn't the best thing, stay asleep in a coffin, waiting to wake up for once, not knowing when, and not even know if she would find him alive, come back to his love.

Valerie that day came to support Stefan, because she felt something, she didn't even know what it was but she knew she had to be with Stefan, so they secretly saw, the only ones knowing it were the vampires. Bonnie felt something too, and Jeremy was there to understand what was going on, he had been a vampire hunter, so he knew how to fight and harm someone. Klaus and Caroline, like other professors and students were walking in the different parts of the castle, when they heard a loud noise. Rebekah ran to the Astronomy Tower under the stairs, where Harry Potter was.

"Potter?" She asked but he put his hand on her mouth and whispered:

"They could hear us, so don't talk"

She nodded and he put his hand away, so the continued to watch the scene. Dumbledore and Draco were talking, he was trying to convince the boy to not kill him but in his heart, he knew the boy would never do it.

Rebekah's heart was breaking at this scene, he was crying, shaking, saying 'I have to do it or he will kill me' and in that moment Bellatrix come whispering in Draco's ear to do it, to kill Dumbledore but he just couldn't. Meanwhile in the castle, all the professors made the students going in their dorms while they were fighting just a few part of Voldemort's army, like ten deatheaters.

Bonnie and Jeremy tried killed two but the only injured them and they disappeared. The deatheaters were in different parts of the castle. Valerie killed one of them with her magic, a little fight was started, but at the end all deatheaters disappeared, except they returned in eight and Valerie and Bonnie were injured a bit. After a while, on the Astronomy Tower Severus came to help Draco but he didn't expect to see Harry and Rebekah watching the scene on the stairs, and the girl was crying making no sound. He gestured them to don't talk and joined the scene, screaming once for all:

'AVEDA KADAVRA'

The killing curse to Dumbledore. Draco fell on the floor shocked, crying and shaking while Dumbledore felt from the Astronomy Tower.

"Let's go" Bellatrix said and they appeared in the woods, Harry started to cry and Rebekah hugged him but he ran following Snape, and throwing him the Half Blood Prince Curse but Snape mirrored it to him saying:

"Don't use my spells againist me, yes, i'm the Half Blood Prince Potter"

Rebekah saw all the scene and ran to Potter, she glared at Draco once again, maybe the last time while he mouthed an 'i'm sorry' and Bellatrix's spell made the Dark Mark appear high in the sky before they disappeared. Damon and Elena saw the Dark Mark and hugged each others, Klaus and Caroline ran where Potter was and took him in the castle for heal him, together Bonnie and Valerie did it, and he thanked them, and went again to the Astronomy Tower with Ron and Hermione saying he wanted to destroy horcruxs.

Two days later, they all went to Dumbledore funeral.

"We started to know him this year but he helped us a lot, we're really sorry that an awesome man, had to end like this, may he rest in peace"

That's what Bonnie and Jeremy said, and then Klaus and Caroline:

"It's the same for us, a great man, a great wizard, i think today we have lost not just a principal, but an ispiration to every single one of us"

Then Stefan and Alaric started:

"A true hero, i think he was a father figure for all of us, especially Harry Potter. A wonderful man, with a cruel destiny, but now he's in peace"

Damon and Elena never left each other's hand. They didn't care, they said that a professor and a student should talk together if they wanted to like Professor Mcgrannit did with Hermione but everyone were too busy suffering than realizing Damon and Elena's hands were locked or at least they thought so, and they started to talk.

"He was not just a man, he was part of us, we know we knew him just from one year, but a year is enough, enough for understand how amazing Dumbledore was. He teaches us a lot, especially to never give up, because we may be a lot of people but we are just one heart that beat at the same time"

Everyone raised their wands to the sky for respect to their ex principal. They were all broken for what happened, Rebekah was depressed because Draco wasn't even there, like Harry, because Harry was tok broken for stay there. Stefan and Damon shared a long hug and they same the Mikaelson siblings, Elena and Jeremy cried together, hugging and Caroline and Bonnie did the same while Alaric went to the woods with a bottle of bourbon in his hand, thinking about Jo.
"Maybe one day, all this will be over and i will be back to you" he whispered before starting to drink.
