_______________

Hello lovely people. So today I'm gonna show you how to do a text on ps (I haven't tried this in other apps but if you think it can be done then go ahead)

This is the text I'm gonna show you;

|Let's get to it|

Step 1. Write your title.

Step 2. Change the mode from normal to overlay. Then double click on the text and go to 'drop shadow'. Set the opacity to 100%.

Step 3. Right click on the layer with the text and select 'duplicate layer'. Change the copy's opacity to 70 or 80%, but you can play around with the opacity to get the result you want.

Step 4. Next, go to the original layer of the text and make another copy.

Step 5. Make sure you have selected the second copy. Now go to the filter tub and to the blur section. Select 'motion blur' and change the distance to 260 or more. Again you can play around with it but it has to look faded, don't overdo it tho.

The tutorial ends here but there's another step I do sometimes.

Step 6. (Optional) You can change the color of the first copy you made by double clicking on it. A box appears that says layer style. Go to 'color overlay' and choose whichever colour matches your color scheme and change the opacity to 17-18 if it's a light color, if it's dark then you have to lower it more.

The final result should be something like mine above. I'm bad at explaining stuff so I really hope this helped you.
