Umi has always been quiet. Being raised in a kind and caring village, people don't know what made her turn to being silent.
A past that involves her witnessing her parents' deaths, many forgotten memories, and facts leading to a missing person, U...
That moment when Wattpad tells you that you have more than 135 drafts.

That night, Umi found it extremely difficult to sleep. Whenever she touched sleep, Izana just had to pop up in her mind and remind her of their kiss. It was at least 3 hours after she went to bed when she finally got some sleep. Though, when she woke up, she felt amazing. She was cheery for no reason and headed to Shirayuki's room with Ein right behind her.
"Umi?" Shirayuki asked once she opened the door. "It's so early," she yawned.
"It is, but anyway, I couldn't tell you this last night because I didn't know if you were asleep or not," Umi said. "So I need to tell you now."
"Okay," Shirayuki said and motioned her in. "Come in."
Umi nodded and entered, sitting on her friends bed, Shirayuki doing the same. "So, me and Izana were talking to each other yesterday."
Shirayuki had a sudden interest in this. "Really? What happened? What what what?"
Umi chuckled awkwardly. "It may have gotten a little, uh..."
"Romantic?!"
Umi nodded and Shirayuki gasped, tackling the blue haired girl in a hug. "I'm so happy for you!" She said, grinning widely.
"Hehe, thanks," Umi said and poked her on the stomach, successfully making Shirayuki let go of her and rub it. "Well, I'm headed to the castle. Even though it's early, I want to start reading this one book I found the other day." Also because a certain someone owes me my cake money, she thought.
"Okay," Shirayuki yawned. "I think I'll just sleep for a little longer then I'll head out."
Umi nodded and headed out of her room, Ein right behind her. She looked down at the Corgi, "I'll leave you with the landlady again, okay?" He barked up at her as she knocked on the woman's door.
"Oh, Umi! It's awfully early, don't you think?" The lady said.
"I'm sorry, but I have some business in the castle," she explained, though it was somewhat a lie. Pfft, business. "Ein's pretty sleep so he'll probably be out of it for a while."
"Alright," the landlady said and let Ein inside. "I'll see you later, dear."

Umi wandered into the library, looking around. Where is Shiina? She thought. She comes early in the morning to start work. She sighed and headed towards the fantasy genre of books. From the shelves there, she pulled out a new book to start reading. She made herself comfortable at the table and began. Line after line, she became more indulged with the book.
By the time she reached nearly half-way though the book, she looked up to someone who had began poking her head. "Shiina!" she choked on her spit at the sudden face right up in her eyesight.
Shiina threw her head back and laughed. "Aha! You have the best expressions I've ever seen!"
Umi huffed and held out her hand. 'You owe me," she said.
"Aw--wait. Don't tell me. You and Izana actually did something?!" she gasped.
"I-I..." Umi stuttered, her cheeks reddening.
Shiina laughed again and dug into her pocket. "I knew you two were going to have something. You both are my number one OTP," she said and pulled out an envelope and handed it to Umi. "I have to go--got a bit of work to do with finances." Once Shiina had taken at least two steps away, she turned and said, "Izana is in the Room of Chanting Flowers if you wanted to spend some quality timw with hium," she smirked with a wink.
Umi blushed and looked down at the book in her hands, a small smile forming on her lips as she thought of Izana.
••• (a/n: because I feel like a nice person, I'll throw in some more of Umi and Izana's romancey stuff)
She stood in front of the room where Izana was supposedly in, frozen in place. What is he was busy? What if he wasn't there? What would she say? She shook her head and grasped the handle, disregarding her unease. She pushed the door open just enough for her to peek inside to see Izana sitting in a chair, looking outside.
She nearly jumped in shock when he spoke. "I knew'd you come," he said with a smile, turning to the door and Umi stared, heat rushing up her face.

"Y-you told Shiina to tell me that you were here, didn't you?" she stammered.
He chuckled. "Maybe," he said and stood up.
Umi deadpanned at this and entered, closing the door behind her. "I only came because I was bored and everyone else is probably working," she muttered.
"Probably?"
She blushed and pointed a finger at him. "Just yesterday you're the one who called me a tease, now look who's talking!"
He laughed and walked up to her patting her head. "You're really adorable at times, you know."
She gaped, that redness not going away anytime soon and blew air out of her nose. "And you're really hot when you want to be," she said in a whisper.
He gave her a confused look. "What?"
"Nothing!"
"No, tell me," he pushed on.
She shook her head with a childish look on her face. "No."
Izana was glad. Glad that she had opened up her true self to him. Glad that she would take the time to stay with him. Glad that they had met. Glad it was her he had fallen for.

I haven't updated in a while, I know. My apologies, my subjects.
Oh yeah, next chapter will begin within season two because if I have something to base this story on for a while, I'll be able to update much more.
