Word has passed that Umi was actually a princess and her coworkers in the library had first began to act more formal and mature around her. But, Umi just said, "If you all started to grow up, it would be the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me. Just don't, guys. Treat me like you normally would."
It had been four days since the party and the last time Umi saw her siblings. She had managed to open up more to the others in the library—not to mention, also towards Izana—and they were grateful for that.

"What's it like being a princess?" Kera asked, scooting beside her.

"I may have the blood of a princess, but I also have the mind of a normal person," she stated and moved further away from Kera. "It's weird being called a princess... Please stop getting so close to me, you're freaking me out."

"Sorry, sorry," Kera apologized with an awkward chuckle then looked up at the clock. "Oh, would you look at that. It's your break now."

Umi nods and smiles to herself. Finally. I need a walk. "I'll see you later," she says and began to make her way out of the library, taking a book with her. Kera waved at Umi who quietly close the door behind her.

Umi sighed and looked down at the story in her arms; Book of Life. A story about a child growing up to become a man, then to a father, then to a grandfather. This was most likely a book of the author reciting his life in a series of descriptive words and feelings.

She opened the book and began to read as she walked. She began engrossed in this new world of a young boy.
She kept walking and walking until she finally crashed into a wall. She rubbed her nose. "Oops, I forgot to turn."

She sighed and thought to herself, Maybe I should go explore the castle. I could find somewhere to read. She nodded, excited to continue the story. She didn't want read while walking just so she could crash into a wall again.
Umi headed up a nearby staircase ad rushed up it.

Umi could feel a breeze coming from down the hall she was at and went towards it, ending up on a balcony. She exhaled a breath and sat on the ledge, leaning her back on the pillar behind her.

Umi opened her book and as she continued reading more and more, she put it closer to her face.

Izana had just finished with more paperwork and headed out for some fresh air when he saw a familiar girl reading. He came up behind her and looked over her shoulder at what she was reading.
She looked at him from the corner of her eyes and turned the book to him slightly, just enough for him to have a better view.

He smiled when she did so. "What is it about?" He asked.

"A boy growing up," she answered and turned the page. "It's about the authors life."

"Huh." He hunched over to get closer to the words.

"Did you finish all your work?" Umi asked and sat straight so he could sit beside her, which he did.

He nodded. "I'll probably have to do more later, though."

"I haven't seen you in a while—you must be busy."

"Yes," he sighed and leaned back.

"Don't let it stress you out too much, okay?" She looked up at him worriedly.

His eyes widened before he pay her head and gave her a grin. "No worries," he said. Could this be what she meant by love? He asked himself. So this is what Zen feels towards that red-haired girl.

"You're zoning out, Izana," Umi said and waved her hand in front of his eyes. "Stop staring, it's creepy."

"Sorry," he said and looked away. "You speaking normally now. That family reunion really changed something in you."

"I hope it's a good thing," she said and looked down at the book in her hands.

"It surely is," he chuckled. Then he thought of something and looked down at her.
