Two Kinds of Super

Chapter 1

"Welcome to your new home Mrs. Davenport!" My new step dad said while carrying my mom
bridal style

"Why thank you Mr. Davenport"

"Absolutely Mrs. Davenport" I mentally gaged

"We get it you guys are married" Leo said I giggled "It's getting old"

"Woah..." Me and Leo both said as we got a good look at the living room

"You got this big house just by inventing things?!" I asked

"Mmhm" he nodded as well

"Way to go mom" Leo said I rolled my eyes
I fist bummed Leo as I set my last bag down

As usual Leo was trying to touch stuff but Mr. Davenport wouldn't let him
It was some kind of 3-D tv, as Leo tried to catch a baseball he hit the back of the wall

"Watch the vase termite!" The wall yelled I jumped back

"Mom I think the little voice inside my head is back" Leo said I rolled my eyes

"What is that?" I asked hiding behind Tasha
Ok so I know I have powers but I have to act like I'm scared, cause if I use my powers I front of them it might make them scared of me

"That is Eddy, he's my smart home system, eddy meet my new stepson Leo" leo waved as I moved out from behind Tasha "And my new stepdaughter Scarlett"

"Hi eddy nice to meet you" I waved

"Remember I told you Tasha, Scarlett, and Leo are moving in today"

"Hey welcome! Everything here is mine"

"Uh kids why don't you go check out your new bedrooms, just go straight down that hallway, and when you see the room with video games and the action figures, and the big 50-foot-screen tv" Leo's face lit up "Keep walking that's mine" Leo looked disappointed and I snickered, he shot a glare at me which I returned

We walked down the hallway looking for our rooms

"This place is huge!" I said Leo nodded

"We're gonna need a GPS just to find the bathroom" I rolled my eyes

He leaned back on the wall and hit something that opened a secret elevator

"You first, you have powers" he pushed me forwards I rolled my eyes and walked into the elevator, we both entered and then the doors closed behind us

The elevator was going at lightening speed and Leo and I were screaming as we held onto each other, the elevator hit the floor and we let go

"We never speak of this again" I said

"Agreed" he said as we walked into the room

"Woah...our new dad is batman!"

"No you idiot this must be his work space" I said he shrugged
Then another set of doors opened

"Uh quick behind the barrels!" I whisper/yelled as I gave him a light push towards them, as we hid behind them some person came out

"Ha! Good luck getting in, that steel door is thicker then you head!"
Then the door hand a huge fist print in it

"Super strength?" I whispered that's like my ability, while one of them anyways, the person hit the door again and both doors came crashing down
