06.| Blackout Roof
Yeah I know the title sucks.
I gasp and push him back from me, wiping my mouth glaring at him. His face goes from surprised to conceited. His arrogance spurs on my anger. Why is he so disrespectful!? First pranking me, although I still think it was alcohol, now this!?
I start to stand but his face changes as hw realizes I don't find it funny. I pull my hands away and he stands with me pulling me back.
"Wait. Yo... My bad." His bad?
I yank away from his grasp. "Why are you such a egotistical jerk!?" He flinches a little. Good.
His hands go in his pockets as he shrugs looking down and some of his quiffed hair falls out of place and hangs over his forehead.
My heart softens. Damn me for having a soft heart for people, even jackbutts like him.
Don't fall for it he's playing you.
I try to listen to my sane thoughts but my body has a mind of its own. I sigh and makes him look up, my finger under his chin.
Ugh you touched him.
He looks at me with sorrow filled green eyes.
"It really was my bad..." I guess this is the closet to an apology I'm going to get.
I hate my niceness.
I shrug as if it didn't faze me and sits back down on the edge of the roof and he follows suit.
"Okay... You've disrespected me big time the two times we've met. I should've thrown you off the roof but I showed you mercy." His eyes lighten at my words and he smirks crookedly.
"I'm too heavy for you." He pats his stomach and arms which were slim but very well defined.
I scoff to cover my admiration, rolling my eyes.
"Whatever. I could so take you on." It's crazy. One minute I'm angry with him and the next I'm challenging him. He stands towering over me and I stand as well although he still towers over my small frame.
His arms spread and he winks.
"Take a go."
I feel the challenge, just like I do when I played in all womens basketball, or was captain of the cheer leading squad or even when I was president of the student counsel group and head ambassador. A hot spark passes through my mind.
I push him with all I've got. Woah, he's like a rock, a soft rock but a rock. His looks betray his true form.
On top of that, he doesn't move. I try again. Still the same outcome. After a few more tries I stop, I hate the arrogant waves that roll off of him and by the look on his face he knows it.
"My turn." He pops his knuckles in his large hands and takes a step forward. I follow it with a backwards step of my own.
His turn? No way.
"Uh.. Uh... Nope. I have to er.. Study." I run off acrosd the roof silently praying I don't catch a weeak spot and cave into the school. That'd suck.
His foosteps charge behind me and I damn him for having long legs, he wraps his arms around my waist and I scream, I feel a hand over my mouth.
"Shhhh they'll here you crazy girl." He chuckles and I squirm around.
