You were pacing around the room, your feet tapping on the old, wooden floor rapidly as you kept your gaze locked on the door. What in the world took Jeff so long? You couldn't leave this room without his key and above all you didn't think it would be safe without him but...
You really wanted to go out.
You wanted to show Masky and Hoodie that you weren't completely clueless and that you really had a brain. You wanted to make some sort of deal for your friends in order to get them out of here alive. You would find a way out for yourself.
But this delay... It killed you. For all you knew it could kill any one of your friends. No, you shouldn't think about something like that. You had the upper hand now, you had the code. The only thing you needed to do was to go into that maze and tell them...
If you were ever going to get there.
You gave a yelp of frustration as you threw a pillow across the room, praying that Jeff would return soon. You couldn't take this suspense! Where was he? Simply his hobby wouldn't take this long, unless he has some sort of reason for it.
Suddenly a tingling sound had caught your attention and you snapped your head into the direction of the door.
Jeff was back?
The sound however continued and you heard a key being inserted into the door. You gazed in anticipation, preparing yourself to jump at Jeff and demand him to take you to that duo but instead of Jeff opening the door and walking inside... You heard the key being taken out again.
You raised your eyebrows in confusion as you stepped closer towards the door. What in the world is this bullshit? Is Jeff being serious? What is he planning on doing? You heard more tingling sounds, as if it wasn't just one key this time, but a lot.
You then again heard the key being inserted again before it turned, leaving a soft 'click'. The door opened but instead of the always angry Jeff you were planning to see, you saw one of the two people you were desperate to find.
Hoodie.
Your mouth hung open as you only stared at the hooded man, who had put his keys back into his pockets. How could this be? You thought only Jeff had a key to this room but never ever thought of the possibility that those two would have one. Why would they?
"Are you ready, yet?" The hooded man only spoke, crossing his arms and waiting for a reply. You could only stare at the man, wondering what in the world this all means and how he could enter this room. It was then it all clicked into your head.
He was talking about the code.
But how in the world did he know?
"We give you a day or two to think about it. Do not mess it up."
Of course! The time he gave you probably was at its limit. Was this just purely coincidence? That was the only explanation you could find. You hadn't told anyone that you knew the code. Just good timing? It could be... But... You knew what Laughing Jack could do, enter your dreams and deform them to his will.
Who knows what those two could do? Maybe they can read your mind? Is that even possible?! Whatever it could be, it wasn't important right now. You'll find out eventually and right now you had to focus on those two and the code.
You simply nodded walking over to the door but before you could reach him, he held up his hand, a sign for you to stop. You immediately stopped in your tracks, wondering what the meaning of that sign was. Do you need to bring something with you?
