(Link's P.O.V)
I stood in the middle of the soldiers, looking for (Y/n). I soon spoted her talking to a brown haired girl in the front of the lines of men. I made my way though everyone and fell in front of them both. Oops.
They both looked to me, (Y/n) narrowed her eyes as the girl put a hand over her mouth and tried not to laugh. I quickly stood up and saluted, "Lord (Y/n)."
"Hello Link," she rolled her eyes with a small smile. She didn't smile to much, but when she did, it lit the whole world up.
"So this is the hero of time?" the girl asked looking to me with a smile as (Y/n) nodded.
"Yes, Avery, this is Link, Link, this is Avery," (Y/n) looked to both of us as Avery nodded her head.
"Good to meet you Link."
"Y-Your the goddess of l-l-love right?" I asked, looking to Avery then (Y/n) as she nodded with a giggle.
"Yes, I am."
"Its an honer to m-meet you," I dipped my head as she smiled.
"Thank you."
"So, what did you need Link?" (y/n) asked, looking to me as I thought for a moment of why I came over.
"Um...oh yeah! I wanted to say good luck in the war and to stay safe!" I smiled as Avery awed and (Y/n) smiled.
"Thank you, the same to you," she dipped her head as I nodded.
"LINK!" I heard the gernals loud voice boom over the trainign yards. I flinched and looked ot were he was.
"I better go. I'll see you later (Y/n). Nice to meet you Avery, " I smiled, dipping my head for probably the millionth time before running off to the general. He was scary when mad and I don't fell like running 10 laps today. {Poor Poor Sasha}
(Your P.O.V)
"He's cute," Avery smiled, turning to me as Link left. I nodded, watching him go and walked to my office, Avery following. We walked into the room as shut the door behind us as I walked to the map on the wall.
"Anyways, the war will take place here. Today Damien was going there and if we can get to him, we can win," I smiled, pointing to a spot on the map. Avery nodded and sat on my desk, cupping her hands and putting them in her lap," we'll ambush them which would be perfect if it works."
"Yes, it will. Now about the men, do you think they can handle it? If Damien is there, there must be lots of soldiers..." I put a hand ont he map and bit my lip, thinking.
"Their strong...they will do fine, I know it."
"I do hope your right..." Avery looked down then up with a smile," so about Link."
"Yes?" I asked, taking a marker and drawing on the map.
"You like him yes?" She asked as I nodded, biting down at the end of the marker and then making some more marks," I could tell he likes you too. Oh, you two will be so cute together~!"
"That must mean something if you're saying it Ms. Goddess of Love," I laughed, putting the marker down and taking a step back.
"Yes...You two will be perfect together-" Avery's eyes went wide as she stared into space.
(Avery's P.O.V)
Blood. Blood every where! A field of blood! Bodies...blood...death. I then heard cries, cries that echoed in the field. My eyes went wide as I saw Link, he's hair stained with blood as he fell slowly, a dark figure standing next to him, watching him fall with an evil smile. In the corner of my eyes, I saw a blur of (h/c) run past me and slid down next to him. (y/n).
I looked up to see Damien standing next to the shadowy figure, laughing as (Y/n) wrapped her arms around Link and cried. Then I blinked, snapping out of it to see (Y/n) giving me a questble look.
(Your P.O.V)
"Avery!" Avery blinked and looked ot me as I gave her a questble look," are you okay?"
"Y-Yes...I'm fine...what was I saying?" She asked, putting a hand on her head as I walked past her and picked up some papers and files off my desk.
"You were talking about Link and I," I reminded her, looking though all the papers then opening the drawer, putting the papers inside.
"O-Oh...um yes...as I said, y-y-you'd be...perfect together..." she looked down and seemed to be deep in though. I looked up and closed the drawer.
"Are you sure your okay?"
"Yes...Just...tried."
"I didn't know goddess got tired," I chuckled as she smiled weakly.
"Yes...we quite do," She luaghed, still looking upset though.
"Lord (Y/n)!" The general walked in and saluted," we're ready for war, my Lord."
"Yes, thank you I'll be right out," I nodded and looked to Avery, "Will you come?"
"No...I'll stay," she looked up then down as I nodded.
"We'll be back soon. Hopefully with victory," I opened the door as Avery looked up.
"Please be careful."
"I will. We all will."
"I hope..." she whipser the last part to herself as I walked out the door the meet the others. Then we were off.
~~~Time skip/ Link's P.O.V~~~
The first part of (Y/n)'s plan worked perfectly. We were able to do a sneak attack and caught them by surprise. But, Damien was nowhere in sight and his soldiers were stronger than ours. Luckily we were holding up...barely.
"Oi Link!" Mason ran to my side and looked around," there's to many of them. Where's (Y/n)?"
"I wish I knew. She ran off somewhere to see if she could find Damien," I looked around but couldn't see here anywhere. Mason nodded and hit another shadow.
"We need to retreat."
"We can hold."
"No we can't. We're losing warriors fast and need to get out of here," Mason looked to me as I sighed and nodded.
"Fine, but I want to find (Y/n)," I looked out into the feilds as Mason nodded and ran off. I turned around and went the other way, the way I saw (Y/n) go. The place was filled with warriors from both sides. It was probably the worst of the war so far.
"(Y/n)!" I yelled, stopping and looking around. She had to be here...somewhere," (Y/n)!"
"Link~" I heard a voice behind me. It sounded nothing like (Y/n)'s thought. I spun around to see...my self?
"W-Who are you?" I asked as the look a like laughed and looked to me with cold red eyes. He looked like me, but a darker version.
"I'm the hero Link of course," he smirked as I growled.
"Liar!" I ran towards him and tried to hit him, but he jumped out of the way. I swung at him again as we hit swords. He also had a master sword but a black one with a darker sliver blade.
Every time I tried to hit him, he would either block the blow or jump out of the way. I haven't hit him once! I tryed again but my sword passed him as he stepped to the side then hit me. I fell back and gasped as he then kicked me, sending me flighing. I got onto my knees and coughed. A dark figure came from behind the shadow and laughed. A man stood there with a smirk as he looked to me," hello there 'o great hero of time'. I see you meet shadow Link. How nice."
"W-Who are...you?" I hissed, trying to stand as I man made a pouty face.
"Oh how rude of me. Well, I'm Lord Damien. I'm sure you heard of me before thought so I won't bother explain," he reached his hand out as if to shack mine. My eyes widened as I growled. I jumped up and ran towards him," Damien!"
Before I could hit him, the 'shadow Link' stepped infront of him and hit me back. I fell and growled as Damien smiled," I like your courage. Now I see what (Y/n) see's in you. But let me tell you..." he got to my level then whispered in my ear," courage is nothing compared to my power. In the end, evil will win..."
"N-Never," I glared at him as he stood starrgiht and ofered a hand.
"Then join me. You will never fell pain again and you will have everything you ever wanted. All if you come with me and join the darkness that (Y/n) was so foolish not to join," he smirked as I looked to his hand and then up at him, my eyes narrowed.
"The only thing I want, is (Y/n). If I join the darkness, I won't have that. So your answers 'no'," I glared as he narrowed his eyes and brought back his hand.
"Your just as foolish as dear (Y/n). Oh and we can't have another (Y/n) around here," he turned and fliched his hand towards me," get rid of him, shadow."
I glared and stood up, ready to hit Damien before shadow hit me. I fell and gasped as he khit me again. I rolled across the field and looked up slowly.
"STOP!" I looked over to see (Y/n) running my way. My eyes widned as I tryed to stand.
"N-No, (Y/n) go."
"Well, here she is. The pride and joy of this world. How sicking," Damien glared at her as ran to my side and stopped at my side.
"Are you okay?" she asked. She turned and narrowed her eyes at Damien as he spoke.
"Well, now that your here, you can watch your hero die before you," he laughed sickly as (Y/n) stood up. As she did, she slowly walked ot Damien. As she got closer, shadow ran towrads her. I gasped as it looked like she'd hit him but (Y/n) put her hand up. Like magic, shadow flew back and disapeered. I gased as well as Damien.
"What do you think your doing?!" He shouted as (Y/n) stopped in front of him and grabbed her sword, holding it to his neck. My eyes went wide as I watched what happned in front of me. (Y/n) stared coldly at Damien as he smiled.
"Go ahead. Kill me. I dare you, sweet heart. Do it," He smirked as she got her sword closer to his neck, but hen stopped. Her smirked as she stood there, shaking. She bit her lip and growled, holding the sword tighter. I waited for her to kill him but she just stood there as if she couldn't move. She fianlly sighed and brought the sword down, tears in her eyes as she stared at him.
"Ha! I knew you couldn't kill me. Your to weak!" He kicked her as she fell and I gasped.
"NO!"
"Your still care for me, over all of this? How pafict! But I don't know why I'm surprised. Your always like this," He put a foot on (Y/n) as she groaned and grinned her teeth, looking up at him.
"I-I'm not a...monster..." she hissed as he glared and kicked her again.
"Well, since you didn't kill me, and this game is so fun to play. I will let you live, your 'heroes' death will be enough for me. You see, I have a new kingdom to rule over so I will see you soon," he smirked, walkign off leaving the two of us. (Y/n) stood up and walked to me, falling at my side and looking down at me.
"Don't die...please...help will come. I know it will," she whispered as I stared up at her.
"(Y/n)..." I looked up at her as she looked down at me.
"Could you...sing of me?" I asked, lookign up at her as she looked shocked.
"Sing?"
"I always over heard you sing and..I liked it a lot."
"What should I sing?" She asked, moving the hair out of my face as I smiled.
"Your favorite song, the one you always sing when your sad..." I smiled as she looked to me and nodded.
"Lets go in the garden, you'll find something waiting. Right there were you left it lying upside down-"
I smiled and closed my eyes, listening to her voice. Coming to the hidden kingdom was probably the best thing I ever did. I met new friends, learned new skills, and above all I met (Y/n). I never loved anyone so much as her. Sure, she seemed like someone that hated everyone else, but once you got to know her, she was like anyone else, but better. That's why I love her.
(your P.O.V)
"Oi! (Y/n)!" I looked up to see Mason and the others coming, Avery with them. I smiled and looked down to Link.
"Link...there here. They'll make you fell better," I smiled but there was no responds," Link?"
"..." My eyes began to water up and I began to shack him. Everyone stopping at my side.
"LINK WAKE UP!" Tears streamed down my face as he still didn't move. IT was the first time I cried in front of others forever but I didn't care how weak I looked," Link!"
"(Y/n)!" Avery grabbed my shoulders and turned me towards her, looking into my eyes," he's gone. There's nothing we can do."
"N-No..." I looked to Link as Avery looked down as did everyone. Even Nichole was to upset to make some kind of comment of how it was my fault. It was me that said it," this is all my fault..."
"Its not your faults," Mason knelled next to me as I held my head and stared at the ground.
"I had so many times I could have killed Damien...if I could have just killed him, Link would be alive..."
"(Y/n), you can't change fate. Its not your fault, its Damien's."
I looked down as Avery took my hand and helped me up," come on dear, we have to get you cleaned up. Then we'll figure things out after that."
All I could do was nod and follow them. Lina held her arm around my shoulder and compared me as I stared at the ground. I couldn't help but be upset...Link was gone. Damien was now right...I have nothing now. Every time I learn to love someone, they leave me...
Please don't cry (Y/n)...This isn't the last time we'll see each other. We'll meet again some day. I promise.
