Judy's POV.
She smiled as she crossed her piece across another.
"King me!" She squealed.
Nick rolled his eyes from across of her. The board of checkers was in front of them with the pieces evenly divided. He then turned around a checkers piece showing a lion in front and placed it on top of the one she had jumped.
Judy hopped up and down feeling so much joy in her, but in the process knocked over the board spilling all the checker pieces on the floor.
"Oops. My bad." She said.
Nick shrugs. "It was getting late, anyway. You better start getting home." He said.
Judy nodded. She then helped Nick clean up the mess that she had made. Once finished, Nick said.
"Hey, carrots." She turned to him. "Let me take you home."
He then did his usually smirk, that for some reason made butterflies in her stomach. She shook her head.
"I'm good. I can walk myself home." She responded.
She suddenly spotted a hint of disappointment in his eyes. Then, as soon it came, it went.
"Ok. Make sure you take care of yourself, Hopps." He said.
Judy chuckled. "Alright, Wilde."
She then walked out of the door and into the cold windy night.
Time Skip
After the 'Missing Mammals' case, Chief Bogo had just given Judy and Nick a new assignment to chase down a runaway driver "tearing up the streets". Nick and Judy had jumped into a big police truck and were driving on the road. As they drove, Nick said.
"So are all rabbits bad drivers, or is it just you."
Judy suddenly slammed on her brakes as she came to her red light. She smirked.
"Oops, sorry." She said sarcastically.
Nick chuckled. "Sly bunny."
"Dumb fox."
"You know you love me."
"Do I know that?.............Yes, yes I do."
She suddenly awoke to the sudden memory.
Did I really mean what I said?
