And I suppose you want an explanation so...here it is. Religions I learned: Shintoism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam(I'm a Muslim FYI, yes I spilled the beans!), Christianity, Judaism, and Confucianism(Philosophy) Basically, some religions are linked like: Islam, Christianity and Judaism well as Buddhism and Hinduism.
So without further ado, I give the explanation.
Since Jack lived in the Colonial Times at the North, he is either a Puritan or Quaker. And didn't they believe the Moon represents God? So, technically Jack was resurrected by God which is a common belief in Hinduism and Buddaism. And he got reincarnated into a nature spirit which in Shintoism are called Kami. And I got nothing for Confucianism. 😜 I HIGHLY doubt anyone else would have randomly thought of this.
