Chapter 18

"Darling? Darling?"

"Uh...?"

"I thought you were the one who suggested the clan's movie night?"

"Oh... ya... let me get up and wash up first."

Simon uncover the blankets and approached the toilet in a slow pace tiredly. Not awhile longer, Simon came out all fresh and clean.

"Simon, you okay?"
"Ya, i think i am just hungry. I haven't fed for days."
"Have you forgotten what i said? Dios, you are such an idiot."
"Ya i am an idiot, okay!"

Simon snarked at Raphael and slammed the door hard before leaving. Raphael turned and used his fast speed to catch up with the pissed-off Simon. He soon find Simon topless, training alone.

"Darling..."
"..."
"I'm sorry."
"..."
"I know my words are overboard, but you shouldn't forget to feed. I know you hate being a vampire, but it's your fate, darling. "
"Sorry."
"Don't, darling don't. I know what Maureen had said made an impact, i know you have special feelings for her, you took care of her. I know you hate to be used, I'm sorry i couldn't protect you. I'm sorry I'm not in your past, but for now, i am your present and also your future. Besides, we have forever. "

Raphael look at Simon with sincerity in both his eyes. Simon's chocolate eyes seems to lit up, and in a blink of an eye, Simon is already infront of him kissing him.

"I love you Raphael. Sorry."

Simon could feel Raphael grinning upon his lips. With their fangs clashing, they were kissing passionately till they hear someone's footsteps. Simon whispered softly by Raphael's ear and Raphael smirked before holding his hand pulling him out of the training room.

Simon grumbled slightly when they return to the room, habitually touching his stomach. Raphael hands work fast and a glass of blood soon apeared infront of his face. Simon took and glass and gulped down the glass of blood within few seconds. Simon placed the glass on the coffee table and turned to Raphael with a slight grin.

"Raph, you are coming right?"
"What if i say no?
"I will bring you there by hook or by crook."
"Really?"

Raphael smirked lightly with his arched brow lifted up. With a slightly challenging look, Simon smiled slyly.

"Would you say no to me huh?"
"No."

Simon pouted really cutely and Raphael turned his back, not wanting to look at Simon's expressions. Simon moved fast and appeared infront of him, pulling him to a small peck.

"No can do, Raph. You are coming."
"Fine."
"Knew you would agree."

Raphael rolled his eyes and picked out clothes before stepping into the shower.

"Join?"

Simon nodded and took his clothes in with Raphael to the shower room.

- later in the night

The vampires soon gathered together with their beloved clan leader and their advisor Simon. They were relatively quite soft and didn't waste much time to get in the already emptied theater that was booked by Simon days before. They took their seats and Simon is sitting beside with Raphael, lily and Elliot whom is sitting beside Raphael. The movie was the movie that everyone chose without objections, a horror movie. Actually there was a minor objection from the horror movie hater Simon, but without doubts, his objection has been revoked.

Simon is holding tightly to Raphael's arm tightly and his Batman jacket laid prefectly without a fold. As the lights die down, Raphael placed an reassuring hand on Simon's trembling arm.

The movie started screening with laughters and sweet family moments. Some vampires broke down in tears while hugging their partners. All they wished for was a happy family and a normal life. Slowly slowly as the movie continues, some of the moments was hilarious and everyone laughed to it. When it comes to the scary part, some screamed in terror, but it was mostly Simon.

Simon has his Batman jacket on his head and Raphael would cover his eyes with the jacket if he sense that the horror part was coming but to no avail. It appears that Raphael either has a bad sense of timing or he was purposefully trying to scare Simon to his second death.

After a gruesome two hours of movie, everyone came out laughing and smiling as they leave for the Hotel before sun rises. Well, maybe only Simon was the only one trembling hard, all frightened up. Raphael hugged him tight and brought him back fast carrying him in princess style.

- At the Hotel
"You did that on purpose!"

Simon pouted and covered himself with the silk blanket avoiding Raphael's gaze. Raphael sighed and shook his head before going into the bed and hugged pouting Simon.

"I'm sorry okay? Darling? It's just that whe you are terrified, you actually depend on me. You are too stubborn, till an extent that i feel myself useless."
"I'm not!"
"Darling, i have a very important question for you."
"Ya?"
"Are you on your vampire period?"
"What the f-"
"No explicit language. "
"No I'm not!"

Raphael chuckled lightly, kissing Simon's innocent face.

Mmm... you still taste like chocolate. As always, my darling.
