What is it like not being "Straight?"

Straight. That's a word we all use to describe "normal" people in a sexual relation ship. They are attracted to their opposite gender.

But there's people out there, who aren't "normal." They ether aren't attracted to their opposite gender, or they don't care, or they don't have that sexual attraction at all.

And, I'm not "normal."

If you guys read my rant over in my book of bull crap, then you know I'm not "normal." Here, let my introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Kayla. I'm 11 years old, turning 12 in May, and I already know I'm asexual.

Asexual, if you don't know, is where you have no sexual feeling or desires.

And for all your straight people, or homosexual people, let me put this through a different lens.

Your surrounded by people who don't know your asexual. Your in high school, and everyone is talking about what they did over the weekend. Someone mentions they had sex, and what happens to me is, I just get this weird feeling of disgusted pit in my stomach.

Every time I think about it, it disgusts me.

When I told some of my friends, they were just like, "oh, your to young. Of course you won't have those feelings."

They
Don't
GET
IT!!!

They say that and say that and it (sorry for my language.) pisses me off.

My straight friends don't know what it's like having to deal with a bunch of perverted guys who make sex jokes, and feeling so......awkward.

Hell, one day in lunch I made a joke to act straight.

To ACT!!!

TO ACT!!!

I feel like if I said something, I'd get judged.

My one friend and I, we were talking about asexuality and her comment she made didn't mean to offend me, but it did.

The way I interpreted it was, "sense your asexual, and I'm straight, and I'm going to have kids means I'm going to have more responsibilities."

Now, she didn't mean it that way. And I know she didn't mean it that way, I asked her.

But, I feel straight people who make judgements about us ace's don't understand, so they can't correctly explain the thoughts and emotions we go through when sex gets mentioned.

And same goes for people who judge gays, lesbians, bi's, trans, they don't know what it's like, and I don't! If they are happy the way they are, then good for them!

Now, I know this isn't art, and some people may not read it because of the rant topic, but to the people who do read this,

Who care enough about this to read this.

Thanks.

I'm about in tears right now, because the thought of people even caring enough to read about what it's like to not be straight, and the whole sexual orientation thing,

Makes me so happy.

Because this is a problem.

People judging because of this, it's not right, but it's their mindset I guess.

And please, if your not straight, please please please PLEASE!!! Make a chapter in something and talk about what it's like being, whatever sexuality you are.

And tag me in it! I'd love to read it!

And being asexual isn't weird I guess it's just easier to say "no" to sex and not be weird.

And not be played off as sex toys.

Thanks for reading.

I love all of you!!! (In a friendly way)

And I have an idea, do you guys want me to make a book about what it is like being not "normal" to most people.

If you wanna see it, comment.

Thanks again for reading this.

I
Love
All
Of
You
Guys.
Flaws,
Sexualities
Everything,
I
Don't
Care.
You
All
Are
Awesome

-Kayla ❤️❤️❤️
