The Lost

After the mission was done Eren was looking for Armin and Mikasa, while he was riding his horse Guardian and he had heard Armin screaming, when he got to where he had heard Armin screaming and found Armin crying with blood all over him "what happened" Eren said looking at Armin worried "she ... she ... is over there" Armin said raising his head holding Mikasa scarf, Eren looked at Armin with shock "where's Mikasa" Eren said grabbing Mikasa scarf wrapping it around his neck "she over there" Armin said pointing to a place in the woods Eren ran over to the spot. When he reached the spot Armin told him Mikasa was at he saw a half eaten body and saw that it was Mikasa "MIKASA" Eren screamed running over to the body and saw Mikasa with her eyes closed and had her hand over her heart with something in her hand Eren moved her hand and grabbed what was in her hand and unraveled the piece of paper and a picture of him, her and Armin. Eren looked at the note and read it

"Dear Eren

If this gets to you that means we have survived this mission but if it does not just remember all of us that had not died in vain, and me sitting here waiting for my end of my life to come soon and i wish i could have told this to in person and not here in this note but this seems the only way to get to you, well i love you and i wish i could had more time with you,i loved all the times we had together and if you ever wondered when i started to feel this way is when you had saved me and told me that everything is safe, i have always forgave you so do not worry about anything and feel guilty, so to finish you are my wings of freedom so now i can be above you and save you from anything

Eren looked at the lifeless body of the girl he had loved for his whole life he scooted closer to her and picked up her body that was still there and hugged her and cried into her "Mikasa please... please come back" Eren cried into neck, after a while Armin and Levi came to Eren and saw him covered in Mikasa blood "Jaeger we are leaving" Levi said walking up to Eren and putting one hand on his shoulder "can we" Eren looked at Levi "yes we can in wall maria" Levi said looking at Eren "you have her scarf" Armin said looking at Eren "ya it would mean a lot to her if she saw this"Eren said putting one of his hands and intertwined with one of MIkasa hands. When they got to Wall Maria Eren carried Mikasa body over to the tree they always loved to go to "Here" Armin and Levi said looking at Eren "yes this was a special place for her and me" Eren said looking at Mikasa body, one of Mikasa arm had drapped down Eren saw and moved the arm and put it on her heart and Eren put his hand on hers. After they were done baring Mikasa Eren had kneeled in front of the cross they had put above her "i wish we could have been Mikasa but you are someplace safe" Eren said starting to cry but he felt something and looked behind him and saw nothing but he felt the presence of Mikasa "i knew that you would never leave my side" Eren said smiling at the spot he felt the presence of the love of his life
