Remembering The Battle

Armin was walking around the survey corps HQ, he was trying to find Eren but when he got to Eren room he heard him talking Armin knocked on the door "hey Eren where have you been" Armin said opening the door to Eren room and walking into his room "trying to get away from Levi" Eren said looking at Armin "why what's the matter"Armin said looking at Eren "he got mad at me for not doing something that he never told me to do that he had told Jean to do" Eren said angry Armin looked down remembering that today was the day of the battle of Trost and he wanted to check on Mikasa to see if she was ok "do you know where Mikasa is Eren" Armin said worried "why" Eren said looking at Armin confused "do you not remember what happened on this day"Armin said strict "no i do not" Eren said confused standing up "uh ok today is the battle of Trost and i am worried that Mikasa is remembering this day because well it was emotional for her" Armin said looking down at the ground wondering if Eren would now worry about Mikasa "why would she get emotional for-" Eren stopped remembering what had happened to him "wait did you tell that i had-"Eren looked at Armin who nodded "how did she take it" Eren said walking over to Armin "well from what i saw she fought with the pain that you had died" Armin said looking at Eren "but they said that some of the teams saw me come out of the titan i was in, did you guys know" Eren said confused remembering what he was told when he had woken up not remembering what happened "well me, Mikasa, Jean, Annie,Reiner,Bertholdt, and Connie were there to see you come out of the titan"Armin said looking at the ground remembering that Mikasa was crying till they told her that he was alive and she did not have to worry "so how did you and Mikasa take it" Eren said walking back over to his bed and sitting on it "well when we saw your titan fall to the ground and saw you come out of it Mikasa shot her maneuver gear to the closet building and ran to you and she held you and she moved from what she told me after she calmed down she checked for your heartbeat she heard it and well she started to cry, after a while we thought she would calm down but she did not so she brought you up to the building we were at before the battle and well she kept holding you tight still crying i watched in deep of how that could be possible seeing you get eaten by a titan"Armin said looking out the window "oh" Eren said looking at the ground "at least you are here because i do not think Mikasa would have been the same if you were actually dead" Armin said looking at Eren "um well i am going to find Mikasa" Eren said standing "ok well i will be in my room" Armin said leaving the room "she really cares for me why did i keep telling me she does not" Eren said to himself. When Eren went down to the stable to see if Mikasa was there he saw that Mikasa horse Storm was gone Eren looked around and found Mikasa walking Storm around Eren walked closer "hey" Eren said looking at Mikasa remembering what Armin had told him "oh hey" Mikasa said looking at the ground "is it ok if i talk to you" Eren said walking over to where Mikasa was standing with Storm "sure just let me put Storm first" Mikasa said turing Storm towards her stall but Eren put him arms around Mikasa "i will never leave you again i am sorry that i am such a pitiful man towards you" Eren said putting his head on Mikasa back Mikasa moved her hands over Eren's "it's ok Eren, i know that i have you" Mikasa said looking at Eren hands around her "did Armin tell him what happened this day Mikasa thought to herself " i am sorry that you had to fight with the pain thinking that i was dead and i am-" but before Eren could finish Mikasa turned towards Eren and hugged Eren "it's ok Eren at least i know that i have you back" Mikasa said putting her head on Eren holding Storm lead rope, after Mikasa put Storm away Eren and Mikasa walked back to his room "how did you remember the battle "Mikasa said looking at Eren as he sat on his bed Eren looked at her "Armin told me all i remember was me fighting with you and then saving Armin" Eren said looking down Mikasa walked over to Eren bed and sat down "so Armin told you" Mikasa said looking at Eren Eren looked at her and nodded "i wish none of that happened and i could have fought by you and Armin side" Eren said looking at Mikasa "ya me too" Mikasa said looking down trying to fight the tears that were in her eyes but she could not hold it back anymore and she started to cry "hey it ok Mikasa" Eren said looking at Mikasa as she had her head down "did Armin tell you that i almosted died" Mikasa said quietly but she guessed that Eren heard her because he hugged her bringing her face to his "no he did not but why.. And how did you almost die" Eren said moving his hands away from Mikasa face "well we were going to the place we were at before the battle to get more gas for our maneuver gear and well i fell and i was remembering the pain i felt when my parents had died because of what Armin had told me and i gave up..... I gave up all the hope i had-" but Mikasa could not finish from the tears that she was crying Eren hugged her tighter "shhh i am here i am not leaving you side ever again i never want you to feel that pain ever again" Eren said feeling pain hearing Mikasa crying from the pain she remembers from that battle " Mikasa i love you" Eren said moving his head to face Mikasa "i...i love you too Eren" Mikasa said looking at Eren Eren moved his hands starting to wipe the tears from Mikasa face Mikasa smiled at Eren "thanks" Mikasa said quietly "you're welcome" Eren said smiling at Mikasa "Mikasa will you be my girlfriend" Eren said grabbing Mikasa hands Mikasa looked at Eren and nodded "yes" Mikasa said looking at Eren.
