Scenario: You know that Ryu doesn't do well with other people. His behavior isn't exactly the best either. Which is why he has no friends. Except Kiyoko. And his family. But most importantly, Mizu. They're inseparable. But one day, Mizu asked Ryu for a request.
"Ryu...please find a friend...I know that you're overprotective of me, but I keep getting the feeling that you're very lonely. You're just hiding it."
Ryu said nothing back to him for a while. Then after 5 minutes have passed, he asked, "Why do I need a friend? I have you Mizu."
"Because...I just want you to have friends of your own...maybe a girlfriend...you're very lonely and I just want you to have a friend that will make you smile, and have fun. I don't want you to spend your days training, sitting in the house alone...or staying with me all the time...I mean I'm not complaining but..." Mizu sighed. "It's not healthy to not have fun with other people. I want you to have a little social life..."
Ryu somewhat understood where he was coming from. But he just didn't seem ready to let go.
"I mean we can still spend time together...but then you'll have some friends to do stuff with as well. That's my wish, Big Brother Ryu...it's my wish for you to have friends." Mizu said.
Ryu sat there with a lot to think about. He looked at Mizu, then smiled. "Alright, Mizu...I'll try to find some friends of my own...but no promises."
Mizu's expression brightened. "Thank you, Big Brother Ryu!"
So the next day, you find him at the guild. He walked up to someone but then hesitated and walked away for the 15th time, each with a different person. He sat down at the tables, "I can't do this...the most I've ever talked to people is to fight or with anger...I don't know how..." He sighed.
