Umm...me now. Okay, bye.
I ran up the stairs and slashed both the hellhounds down with one wide arch, and as soon as I did there was no going back.
Kronos roared. "The demigod is in here! Ethan you're scent has confused me, imbecile!"
Ethan looked angry about that comment, and I couldn't blame him, but nevertheless he raised his sword and shield and stood in front of Kronos. The monsters that were scavenging outside for me had all turned and were heading into the dugout. Lucky for me, they took their sweet time and I was still invisible.
Ethan couldn't see it coming, so I slashed and gave him a warning cut to the left arm. He winced and turned to the left as if I'd be there, so I kicked him in the back of the knees and watched him roll down the stairs and proceed to knock down about a dozen monsters.
Kronos stood. I imagined he would've been taller in Titan form, but because he was only Luke he was almost the same size as I.
"Idiot!" He roared, clutching his scythe tighter. I knew if he managed to hit me with that thing I'd die in complete agony without a second chance. But I also knew that invisible or not, he could keep up with me.
I guess it was the 'or not' portion of the fight because a moment after I dodged a blind sweep of his weapon I felt the hat lift off my head. When I looked at my hands, I realized with a start that I could see them again. And if I could see them, so could Kronos.
"Awe, Ter-Ter! Back for more of a beat-down?" His voice converted to Luke's, if only for a moment, as he said 'back'.
I wasn't sure why, but I turned and slashed. A telkhine that had managed to miss Ethan had been right behind me, but was now a pile of dust.
I turned back to the Titan as fast as I'd turned away. I couldn't afford to have my back to him.
"Me? Beat-down?" I inquired. "Are you talking about the bridge where you didn't exactly hurt me? Where I did something like..."
I slammed my sword into the ground. Kronos's golden eyes widened, and a fisher of water grew just like the one before.
"This?"
"Coward, hiding behind your powers!"
"Coward," I mocked his voice, feeling a pang in my gut as I connected with the water. "Hiding behind your scythe."
I focused, and with a yell the fissure cracked the steps and spread, until a wall of high-pressure water separated Kronos and I from the rest of his army. The only monsters that stood a chance of getting through there were the telkhines, and even they weren't making any progress.
"So, coward-on-coward, let's fight." I suggested.
Kronos stumbled out of his surprise and smiled a cruel smile.
"You'll be sorry you did that." Again, Luke's voice on one word; sorry. He was trying to communicate with me. This I knew. But it made it harder. I'd have to kill Kronos, but I'd also be killing Luke in the process.
Kronos took my moment of shock to bang the bottom of his scythe against the floor. I went flying back, but water from a section in the wall receded and boosted me back towards the enemy before collected back into the barricade.
"You're limited in Luke's body." I told Kronos. "I'll give you a chance to get out. Surrender the war. Or else I'll kill you. I know Luke's weakness."
Kronos smiled wickedly. "If you knew that, you would have exploited it already. You have already lost this war. It's only a matter of when you accept that." He swung his scythe at me, and I managed to side-step just in time.
